I enjoyed everything about my stay at villa coco. The villas were so spacious, clean and comfortable and were in a great location, close to everything you needed in seminyak. In a busy area but calm and peaceful in the actual accommodation. The staff were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveller i found this especially helpful. Only 1 problem was the mosquitoes but the staff did everything they could to try and alleviate this problem. Thankyou everyone at villa coco. I will return.

We only stayed 1 night. It was a long walk to get from the lobby to the room. It had its own pool. It was very warm. Actualy to warm. The pool area was in view of neighboring windows. Nice surprise it is less then 10 minutes walk to the beach 1 night was ok but longer i might not have been comfortable

Fantastic help and stay, after a stressful arrival of my flight cancelations, the staff here were understanding, helpful and very comforting. The grounds quiet and peaceful and gardens beautiful . I prefer the one level closed in villa and the staff were fantastic with helping me pick the right villa for my comfort and needs . Thanks again . I feel I have found my hidden gem and now will stay at villa coco each time I visit Bali ,

We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was incredible and felt really private. The outside bathroom was beautiful and the room was really comfortable with everything you could need in the kitchen. The staff were all really friendly and helpful - definitely try a margarita at the pool bar. The location of the hotel was brilliant with a short walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops.

This place gave us a very authentic tropical feel. We loved the materials used in the hotels. Despite the very open setting, we still felt very secluded and in privacy. Highly recommend.

I had to admit that my expectations were low at first since to get there is a big dark and road is too small but is Bali so that's normal! the place was a dream! very comfortable, private! good value for the price! staff was extremely friendly! a few little things were doggy like the water heater, very temperamental and the blocked sink but the rest was great! they are really worry about mosquitos and they spray the place every day!

The location was great although google map pointed us to the back entrance with no one answering the bell causing a bit of a panic. The villa was special being two floors and I know it is a traditional Balinese house but my skin was itchy throughout my whole stay. Overall the villa looked clean but my skin did not agree with it.

Staff are amazing and truly go out of their way to assist. Special thanks to Sandra who spent an hour assisting us to contact our oversees bank. Breakfasts were delicious! Close to ocean and to wonderful restaurants and shops.

We stayed at Villa Coco for six nights over New Year. Staying in their four bedroom (4 BR) villa was ideal for us with three generations of the family traveling together. There are four good size bedrooms each with a four-poster double bed (complete with mosquito net), ample storage/cupboard space and en-suite bathrooms. All sleeping accommodation is upstairs, whilst there is a large open-air living space downstairs, comprising large open-plan living room (sofas, coffee table and large ~55" TV), 10-seater dining table and chairs, pool table (7' x 3.5'), sunken pool-side bar (with fridge) and full, well equipped kitchen. All over-looks a large private swimming pool and lounger deck with separate covered pool-side area. Transfers to/from the airport were easy to organise and relatively inexpensive, with ample space for eight people (and luggage), if required. Check-in was easy and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. Reception can organise day trips (including sightseeing, surf school, fishing, mountain biking, etc.), transfers using the same mini-bus to local attractions (for a small cost, generally cheaper and more convenient than local taxis) and point you in the direction of good local restaurants within walking distance (including French, Italian, Greek and many Asian varieties). Villa Coco is well located in Seminyak, only a five minute walk to the beach, and offers ideal accommodation for many different occasions and group dynamics. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in one of the newer two bedroom villas and wow these are amazing. I loved every minute of my time there. There is a lot of mossies around but they are sprayed constantly and lets face it, that is just a part of Bali. The rooms are airconditioned and totally closed off for cool and mossie free comfort. Staff were above amazing. Totally recommend this place!

we made two night reservation in villa coco throught expedia, but only stayed one night here, due to too much mosquito. when we back to hotel second day, there wer a lot of mosquito coils in the room, we can not breath, we are forced to check-out immediately. the hotel staff told us no refund for the second night, no any improve action for their room. of course we accept it, health is more important than everything.

We had a great time. It was easy with the kids having a relaxed breakfast and the kids can run in the garden. There are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The beach is really only a stroll from the villa. We have the come back for the cocktails. They looked spectacular but we were too busy to try them. Definitely come back.

Villa Coco turned out to be a great experience which made our 25th wedding anniversary truly memorable. It is ideally located off Jln Arjuna (off Seminyak Street) with lots of eating, shopping & spa options within a 1 km radius. The back gate provided quick access to the bustling Double Six beach. We were greeted by the smiling, effervescent Wayan at the reception. She was very helpful and efficient in catering to our needs. Room and housekeeping service were prompt and top class. The pool however didn't look very appealing and hence we didn't use it. Our private garden villa was spacious with a large compound - a truly out of the world experience with a sofa, hammock, dining area, kitchenette & open air bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom with attached toilet on the first floor. Besides breakfast, we had one meal here - the prawn laksa and Caesar salad were delicious. The only areas for improvement are: There were mosquitoes despite all efforts by the management including fumigation; and the AC in the room was not powerful enough to overcome the heat during daytime.

Based on other people's reviews of their villas, we must have stayed in the worst villa (C1) of the complex, but were charged top price. So many things were wrong or went wrong with the villa. Gas bottles were empty resulting in cold showers and not being able to use the stove top. Upstairs bedroom floor and bed were so creaky that it made it difficult for people to sleep in the bedroom below. There is only one bathroom (for a 2 bedroom villa) and it was downstairs and outside with an adjoining wall to the pathway between the villas. Not pleasant going to the toilet with people walking by or sweeping less than 1 metre away from your outside toilet. Unsafe to safely stand under the shower as you had to straddle four concrete slabs that weren't joined together. Faulty downstairs bedroom door that wouldn't stay shut. Needed to wedge a piece of cardboard or lock the door to keep the door closed. Cutlery and crockery cupboard was dank and musty. Need to wash dishes each time before using. Communal pool was tiny, cold and tasted funny. It took only four strokes to swim from end to end. Flimsy curtains that allowed the sun in. Faulty DVD player, safe and locks, Leaky taps. Entrance was a long way from the street down a dark unlit path with uneven terrain. This Villa was one step up from Glamping. Have stayed in much better.
