Location was ok. Staff was very friendly.
Run down, lots of noise on corridors and in adjacent rooms. Could use more isolation and a fresh coat of paint. Could also have a coffee machine in the room..

The staff was very helpful and understanding and upgraded our booked room for the difference in the price. There was always someone at the reception. They also changed our towels and made our beds. The staff was great, from the reception to the cleaning ladies. The metro line Belleville is very close, maybe 50-100 meters, there a lot of restaurants and a pharmacy nearby. The neighbourhood looks colourful to a european, but friendly faces and no issues. First time to Paris, and this place was an OK stay, not awful, but just... ok. Also, get a face cream, there is dry wind in Paris. I mean cracked lips and dry face. We got one from a pharmacie nearby for a few euros.
The doubleroom had a window to the inside of the building, where the "fresh" air was not fresh, it was all the smells from some ground floor restaurants. Because of that, the room was not really ventilated, it didn't have a fan or window in the bathroom, so the whole air was stale. No mold, but no fresh air. Also felt very crammed. We upgraded after a 1 hour nap there. Very disapointing for us. However, the triple room was ok for a two person stay. It was considerably larger, two windows towards the street, the drapes are good if you want intimacy, and you can also stare at each other with the persons in the fast food restaurants across the street, if that is your pleasure. The bathroom had a ventilator, the room was spacious. It's not the cleanlinest feel, but you can sleep, shower, go potty. Also, the toilet is a bit crammed, if you like your space when you are taking your time on the throne, it's not there.

The check out was late so that was good
The location wasn’t so bad but the stay wasn’t the best either, I felt the beds and the furniture either in a bad or indeed dirty. Stayed there for only two nights and only for sleeping but could’ve been cheaper for the not so comfortable accommodation. There were humidities in the walls and cockroaches… Everything felt quite dirty.

Great value for money. Not the most expensive hotel, for the paid price I had a bed, a sink and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. All I needed, nothing I didn’t need.
Super friendly staff, room key is to be always deposited at the front desk. There’s always someone to let you in and you can’t lose the key.
Neighborhood is very nice and safe. Lots of oriental stores and restaurants, very easy to reach by Metro lines 2 and 11.

The location was close to public transport/metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Cheap.
The room was dirty. The bathroom was covered in mould. The toilet seat was broken. Couldn't open the windows (no air conditioning and middle of summer) as people (who appeared to be permanent tenants) had their windows open with TV blaring and constantly smoking in the rooms sitting by the windows. There was no blinds for windows to shut out light. Bathroom cramped - toilet was in the same space as they shower so would get covered in water.

Nice hotel in a convenient location with access to a Metro station ‘Belleville’ 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
Can get very hot in the room

Cheap and well located
The decoration of the room looks cheap, but it doesn't matter for that price

Staff was great.
Neighbors were hypocrites. They wanted us to be super quiet while they banged and yell across the floor
Rooms were extremely hot. No fans and no air flow. I wouldn’t recommend for the summer.

The location is convenient
No air conditioning and it was summer time when I was there

Excellent located, close to the subway
Definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed! Horrible cleaning, dirty room, extremely rude staff, they kept fighting each other with screams, they didn't let me wait for my transport at the reception after check out and I had to stay at the door, dirty bathrooms, full of hair, dirty sheets

Wifi, Friendly staff
I did not like the cramped reception and absence of lobby
I also missed the important detail that the package i chose included a shared bath and toilet
I was not aware of that the credit card transaction that reflected on my phone was only a pre-authorisation and the money is held somewhere. And i practically had to pay twice which was a huge inconvenience. Apparently the Hotel will eventually pay me back. but they dont seem to be in a hurry to do so.

My family arrived in Paris for a week's vacation, which was unfortunately marred by the hotel's staff and politics. My grandfather, who is quite old, often needed to be escorted to the room as it is on the top floor and apart from the elevator, you have to climb stairs. I wasn't even allowed to go upstairs with him and leave him in front of the room because visitors weren't allowed since I'm not one of the main guests. The tone and complete lack of understanding from several people at the front desk was completely unpleasant.

Friendly and helpful staff
Belleville has locally known super restaurants but the area is still downgraded and not upscaled like Charon/Jourdain. Still safe and relaxed.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very close to metro station and a lot of shops/bakeries/restaurants/supermarket in walking distance. Felt safe walking in the area late at night. Room was nice enough, we were out for majority of the day. Would definitely come back.
Floor a little dusty and there was water scaling in shower area but was fairly clean other than that. Very small lift but 3 of us could squish in. Sockets were weirdly placed.
Room is a bit more outdated than the pictures show (perhaps it was only ours like that)

Nice location if you are a tourist. Lifht just reaches 5 floor, so if you are located in the 6st, you must use stairs. Recepcionist was friendly, literally, we use this hotel only for sleeping. Price, quality and location were good. Around corner you will find one of the best pizzerias in Paris, actually it was cheapest.
We couldn’t realize so much things about this hotel because it was, literally, for sleeping.

first of all, I am a simple person who does not need a lot of things. I have stayed in many hostels so I do not mind being in not the cleanest of places. However, there are some things I need to get off my chest about this place. And also if I have not made it clear I do not really recommend it because I think I got scammed. (still waiting of my refund from a week ago but seeing all the other reviews I think I agree with the fact that this may be a scam. And people go to cheap hotels for it to be cheap, not for them to pay double the price. Im not rich. I am not even comfortable and now I am out double the cost! that is just not acceptable for me). The workers were nice to me though but when I called to ask about my refund she was not the nicest but that is probably because everyone does that because they take everyones money. If the money wasn't a problem I probs wouldn't of even made a review but now that this has come about I will leave all the minor (and they are kinda major because it was just gross) issues below. I will say though that our bed at least felt clean!
1. Im 90% we booked a private bathroom but we had a shared one.
2. only one outlet in the whole room!!! I had to curl my hair on the floor by the bed because there was not outlet by the sink.
3. The outlet was very broken so you would have to wiggle it so much to work.
4. the pics on the website does not look like that in real life.
5. The bathroom was really gross and smelled like mildew. Also it was not cleaned whatsoever the entire stay! I saw the same face hair residue for three days.
6. The shower drain was clogged so I was ankle deep in water by the end of my shower. It was really gross also knowing the fact that bathroom had not been cleaned.

There was one staff member that was very friendly, helpful and accommodating that was there majority of times. The bedroom was clean and was of a decent size. We had a cleaner which did come and clean the room.
We chose to settle for a shared bathroom as this was cheaper. We were offered an upgrade but we decided not to. The state of the shared bathroom was not very clean and was very small. The shower and toilet was both within one small area with no hand soap or tissue roll. We were given this in our room but it was inconvenient to keep taking this along. Our bedroom did have a sink though.

- Price compared to other accommodation
- Easy to get around with close metro station
- Elevator
- Basic necessities provided
- good temperature in the winter
- Rooms don’t look at all like pictures
- Loud, very thin walls
- Bathroom — Wet toiler after showering, no extra towels to dry it and it takes a long time to dry (more than 24 hours)

Comfy beds, nice hosts, good location close to metro station.
I'm afraid we found a bed bug in our bed. There was no curtain in the shower. It was a bit noisy and the smell wasn't the nicest.

Area is good
The toilet was very dirty (strange smell, hair inside the bathroom and walls) , very small bedroom not like the pictures, staff were very rude, cats and their food were near the towels at laundry room , this is not acceptable as some people are allergic to cats, water was not hot enough

An experience not to be repeated. The worst accommodation we've been to. The bathroom had the shower and the toilet together, it was impossible to take a shower, the cleanliness was unqualified. Very bad. Everything was really bad.
