The staff were super friendly and the location is excellent with easy access to some of the best parts of Paris!

As with everywhere and almost all accomodation in Paris get ready for some stairs! So if you have a big bag (like me) get those muscles ready 😉

I didn’t like that the building has only stairs. After a long day, having to walk up four floors is not pleasant. The bathroom 🚽 is outside the room and shared, the only private facility is the shower.

The staff are so lovely, and as two young girls travelling together we felt really safe!!

Great value for money, I wouldn’t improve on anything.

I liked how rooms looked like and the beds. The place for some personal stuff was with the key so that was also a plus. The location was close to public transport.

Someone broke in the dorm and i was pushed to switch hostel. they were not able to provide another bed in the other room. they have to think more about security. luckily i had extra money to book another hostel, but that would be incredibly inconvinient if someone with no extra money would be in my situation where you are just kicked out of the hostel.

The shared room was spacious and quiet. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the black out curtains around the bed did a good job.

Only thing I would request are a couple of hooks inside the bunk, on the headboard where the light / power socket is. So that I could hang a small bag with valuables and keep my mobile there while charging.

I liked everything. Very kind staff, very lovely, homely, intelligent interiors. I was lucky enough to have a nice roommates. Most definitely I would like to stay here again when visiting Paris. Those, who complain, should pay more and stay somewhere else. They don't deserve kindness and comfort everyone can get here. Thank you staff! You are wonderful! :)

The place was close to perfect!

There was no late check out for any price or reason… a little too structured Our room was on the fifth floor but it n Europe as in Asia that means 6 floors UP!! With luggage ‼️

Bathroom and toilet were renovated.

Upper bed there was gap in between to wall. No internet upper floor. The staff let me know the password. Could not use it all the time.

Had a very rude incident with manager and a loud party was going on in the lobby till midnight with people who seemed to had rented it out. We had a misunderstanding where my friend had to use the bathroom before he would leave to his hotel and the manager demanded very rudely to take my card without explanation. I asked repeatedly what he was doing and he simply replied: “I’m the manager. If I tell you to hand me the card, you do it.” This was my first night in France and it definitely didn’t make me feel welcome.

Location and cleanliness with professional staff

For the money its almost the price of full fledged hotels and lacks basic services like free towels. Even the lockers came with no keys

The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There was plenty of space in the sharing room. The breakfast was good value for the cost.

Great location, great comfy beds, and well organised hostel.

Lovely atmosphere, quiet (we were in our own room at the back) but right close to a lovely and vibrant area with a local feel. Staff were so welcoming and we had everything we needed. It's not the Ritz, but it is exceptional value for money.

I spent one night in a dorm and three nights in a private room. Very Friendly staff. Great location. Good coffee and beer, Close to multiple metros. Very clean.

Dorm room was very noisy due to a club playing music till past 4am. But I was told this isn’t regular. Pillows were very firm. I normally love a foam pillow but these were quite hard.

There is genuinely so much to love about Fraternity - it felt almost like a luxury hostel rather than your standard hostel. The interior of the entire place was so well done and really related to the theme of monuments in Paris. The dorm room was huge - it even had two showers and three basins! Hard wood floors are always a good thing, and the rainfall shower head... my absolute favourite part! In the room, there's an air con unit inbuilt in the wall (which most hostels don't have), black out curtains on every bunk and big windows that show you either Oberkampf or onto Rue Monet. Extremely comfortable beds (and for once, I didn't mind being on the top bunk as the bunks are firmly in place and don't move during the night). The staff at Fraternity were delightful from the moment I got there - even with a 27kg suitcase, the lovely lady helped me carry it up to the first floor upon arrival! I am so grateful for that after having to lug it through London and then from Gare du Nord. The hostel is in a brilliant location - very close to restaurants, laundrettes, the metro station and more. Easily accessible to get to the city from there. Thank you so much, Fraternity. It was an absolute delight to stay at your hostel! 100/10, if I ever come back to Paris, this will be the only place I'd stay again! The only downsides I would state: there are no elevators (but this is more than standard across Europe, so no biggie for me! Just have to lug my suitcase up spirally stairs, so something to be aware of), and the toilet is outside of the room with no basin, so you have to come back into the room to wash your hands. They do, however, provide hand sanitiser in the toilet room. Merci beaucoup, Fraternity!

Honestly, this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! The facilities are new, the decor is super nice, and the temperature control is very comfortable—both in the rooms and in the common areas. The location was also one of the highlights (download and use the Bonjour RATP app, and everything will work out—yes, it’s better than Google Maps). The staff was an unexpected highlight of my trip—they were always open to chatting, helping, and welcoming all the guests. A special thanks to Emma, Sarah, Elodie, Billy, and Yan (Désolé si j'ai mal compris ou si je me suis trompé de nom hahah). On tough days, knowing that a smile and a warm space were waiting for me when I got back made all the difference. The music and playlists in the common area also made me feel at home ❤️ The breakfast was really good—great options and quality for the price. For those who enjoy it, I also recommend trying the beers; they’re delicious! The hostel has a microwave available for guests, and it’s super easy to buy food from nearby places and eat at the ground-floor tables, which is very convenient. P.S. For those who need them: towels, hairdryer, and lockers are available and provided by the hostel. Since I didn’t end up using them, I’m not sure if any of these have an extra charge. Oh, and the outlets are 220V.

There was nothing I didn't like. As a suggestion for improvement, I think it would be nice to have a small side table in the rooms. Also, maybe some snacks for sale on the ground floor to go with the beer :)

The location was great and close to a few underground lines. The hostel itself seems to be super new, so all facilities were of a good quality, incl. beds, shower, toilet, etc. On the first floor there's a bar and lounge, also they provide breakfasts, but I've not tried them. I had a small issue with my pillow and blanket, but the host was super nice and solved this inconvenience really quickly.

I've booked a female room with 4 beds, but for some reason I was checked in into the room with 10 beds. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to change rooms and solve this issue with the staff, so I had to stay there.

I love everything there! I am missing already all of them, If I return to Paris I would definitely stay there again.

It was in such a good location and the owners were super lovely. Very clean, new and the beds were comfortable and had lights and plugs.

Only negative was the the lockers under the bed aren’t able to be locked but I didn’t feel like anything was going to be stolen anyway.

Curtains on the bed ensure privacy, and the bunks were spaced far apart which was good. Staff were kind and accommodating. Breakfast is optional.

Close to the mosque and muslim community. halal food places and muslim barber next door. Very friendly and beautiful staff

Tout. L'endroit est chaleureux. La chambre est parfaite. Tout est propre, neuf, confortable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon. Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Tout le personnel est souriant, avenant mais discret.
