Well maintained, compact hotel with great location in studenty area, short walk north of Place de la Republique. Very helpful, friendly staff. Attractive decor - room newly fitted out in clever, compact design. I had a single but the whole hotel had been refurbished and felt almost new. Window with a view of other buildings. Air con that worked.
Breakfast was limited, perhaps because I was the last one to eat. The lift broke down (teething problem) on final morning, but staff kindly helped carry my things. These were quite minor issues and didn't take away from a great stay.
