Veselinka Apartments & Rooms

The apartment, which offers a wonderful sea view, is situated on high ground not far from the Old Town (a 10-minute walk). It is about a 20-minute walk to a good sandy beach. The hostess was very welcoming; she arranged a taxi for us from the bus station, handled our tourist registration, recommended great places to eat, and was always available if we needed anything.

There is absolutely no soundproofing in the apartment; sounds from the common hallway and the neighbors' balconies are particularly audible. It is very damp due to the lack of proper ventilation and a shower door. There is only one knife in the kitchen, and it is very flimsy.

Location was good, spacious apartment, clean

Noise from the street, didn’t have a balcony

The location was quite close to the old town. We managed to have a free parking space (but it was probably possible because of the off season)

It’s a difficult to stay fair and impartial (and review the correct apartment), because we were given a different apartment (much bigger, I imagine 8 people could stay there instead of 2) - we were said there was an issue with the water in the other apartment. The communication with the owner was not so great (I am pretty sure I used the number from the booking, but later, after the agreed check in time I was contacted by a different number so not so sure if I used the correct one). Apartment we stayed in had a bathtub (and I am not a fan of having baths not at home) but the shower-head attached to it was not working properly at all - half of the water was running sideways - and it was basically unusable - so it did not look like a new issue. The apartment was close to the main road, so all night you could hear cars passing by- but it’s not the apartments fault.
