Very nice place

Beautiful place. Very comfy and clean rooms. Breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool was amazing and the estate is very well kept with attention to all details. I would recommend this place. It is perfect to stay for a few nights and enjoy the beautiful town in the region.

I liked everything. I would recommend a buffet breakfast rather than a la carte. But that is a personal preference.

It was nice for a last minute booking

The property is breathtaking and the owner is absolutely sweet

I missed my early morning coffee as the breakfast was a little late than usual hotel timings so we had to go to nearby cafes for early morning coffee.

Very comfortable and peaceful except for the fast train you could in the distance.

There were no cleaning products to wash dishes or teatowel to dry the dishes in the apartment we stayed in. There was a dishwasher but for so few dishes we didn't feel it warranted using it.

Tranquil location and delicious food

La Locanda della Chiocciola is extremely well cared for and we found it perfect for a restful break away from it all. The pool was lovely and the garden delightful to sit and read and relax in. The meals were excellent, too; the home-cooking with local ingredients was delicious. Thank you very much for an enjoyable stay.

We had a lovely stay, host was super friendly and helpful. I recommend if you’re looking for a getaway not far from Rome

The host is very nice and helpful. The area is huge, it has a very nice pool, the atmosphere is very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms were very nice and so was the bathroom. We went to a very nice agroturismo next to the location - otherwise closest towns are 30min drive away.

If you’re looking for any sort of activity, this property is not for you. It is mainly to relax and enjoy some time by the pool.

We don't really eat breakfast but decided to indulge a little, given that we could order just a bite to satisfy our sweet tooth and the coffee was perfect every day.

Cristina went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful time. she went far beyond our expectations to make sure we found a nice restaurant and was able to get their safely.

This is the fourth time I have stayed at la Locanda Della Chiocciola.. and I keep coming back. There is NO THING I do not like, and I am appreciative of the proprietors!

Food was wonderful. Landlady was so nice and friendly. The house and location were beautiful and the pool was lovely.

super location, super spatious room with terras, super swimmingpool, super friendly ownership & personal (speaking english very well), close to very interesting villages & cities (Rome 45min by train), restaurants in Orte ~4km)

due to personel availability, the (very good) restaurant is opened a limited time of the week, but this is not a real problem in practise; you also can hear the trains in the Tiber valley, but that did not bother us at all

Charming Inn

The location was perfect for us, not far from Mostri Park, and just an hour from Rome. The room was very comfortable and the dinner was delicious. How nice to be able to stay on site for dinner! The pool was a welcome surprise after a long day of touring. Breakfast was a nice selection of pastries and savouries. All in all a very comfortable b&b.

I punti di forza, senza dubbio sono la posizione di assoluta tranquillità e la bellezza del paesaggio nonché la cura della struttura... Cibo ottimo (colazione)!! Cordialità dell'accoglienza e buona ospitalità del personale. Trovo raffinato e di gusto anche il servizio da colazione!!

Nulla in particolare, ma credo lo sappiano anche loro: possono migliorare tanto!! Spazi enormi nei quali pensare di inserire o implementare servizi portandoli all'altezza della bellezza del posto. Potrebbero migliorare l'accesso alle camere!! In ogni caso, anche così il mio voto è un 9 tondo tondo e pieno!!

Un’ottima struttura immersa nel verde

La struttura è molto curata, immersa in un rigoglioso parco, con una bellissima piscina. I proprietari sono stati sempre molto disponibili e solerti a risolvere qualsiasi contrattempo. Il piccolo appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato era confortevole, il letto molto comodo, e la cucina adeguatamente attrezzata.

Es war einfach traumhaft!

Schon der Empfang war einmalig und super freundlich! Man fühlte sich willkommen, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und schön, das Frühstück war vielfältig und die Kulisse einmalig.

Das der Pool mit Salzwasser statt mit Chlorwasser gefüllt war, ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Il posto perfetto per godersi la vita lontano da tutto!

La gentilezza e la discrezione dei proprietari, sempre disponibili a consigliare locali e luoghi del posto, la colazione “à la carte” con prodotti freschi , torte e marmellate fatte in casa. Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di avere la piscina tutta per noi per due giorni. Un paradiso!

Wir hatten sehr sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber. Leider hatte das Restaurant geschlossen. Wir wurden mit sehr guten Reisetipps ausgestattet; leider konnten wir die Annehmlichkeiten, witterungsbedingt, nicht alle wahrnehmen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder, auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt.
