About this villa rental

Watch the video on YouTube: Villa Tucciano Orte (VT)

A narrow country road, bordered by a gallery of oak trees along the hillside, will take you past the large green gate of Villa Tucciano.
Immersed in the greenery of luxuriant vegetation of elders, holm oaks, pines, cypresses, oaks, olive trees, fruit trees and ornamental plants, the villa offers accommodation for those seeking direct contact with nature, without however denying the possibility of a trip to the city .
Reachable at short distance are in fact Viterbo, Terni and Orvieto (about thirty minutes), Rome, Perugia, Arezzo, Tarquinia (about an hour), Siena and Florence (about two hours).
There are numerous recommended tourist trips in the surrounding area: the mysterious medieval village of Bomarzo, with its Parco del Mostri and the Etruscan pyramid, the castles of Soriano and Vasanello, the waterfalls and the Chia tower, the well of San Patrizio di Orvieto, the Terme dei Papi of Viterbo, the natural pools of sulphurous water of Vetralla and Viterbo (Bullicame and Bagnaccio), the Mole di Narni (small solarium on the banks of the Nera), the guided tours of Orte and Narni underground and the ghost town of Civita di Bagnoregio.
The villa is 200 square meters, consists of ground floor and first floor, is inside a private property of one hectare of fenced land and has a lawn in front of it.
It has a barbeque corner with a table in the shade of a pergola, a large terrace with stone arches entirely covered, a swimming pool with surrounding flooring, equipped with deckchairs and shower, of m. 12.5 x 5.5, 90 cm deep to 2 m, in operation from 01/06 to 30/09.
On the ground floor there is a large entrance porch, a lounge with access to a large terrace, a kitchen equipped with all accessories, 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and 1 bathroom.
On the first floor 2 bedrooms with air conditioning and 2 bathrooms.
Heating is in operation from 20/10 to 15/04, the costs are included in the price.

Mario and Guilia were very friendly and helpful. The house is pleasant. It's a good place to chill and get away from the busyness. The pool is fantastic (they also have floating stuff there to use) and the balcony a great place to have food (do bring anti muskito stuff). Kitchen well equiped. Beds are alright, but not great. We were two couples and a small child. The separate bedrooms (upstairs and downstairs worked nice for privacy) would recommend to stay

Villa Tucciano is an amazing house with the most fabulous pool. The rooms are well equipped (although there is only air conditioning in the 2 upstairs bedrooms with a fan for of the downstairs rooms). The sunset views from the balcony were amazing. There is always shade around the pool which was important for our children and the pool was cleaned and maintained daily. We were also brought 2 baskets of plums and nectarines which was a lovely touch. The WiFi (an essential my kids) wasn’t great but that was the only slight negative about the house. What it is important to realise is that this isn’t a particularly touristy area so there isn’t an abundance of restaurants / shops (at least we struggled to find any without driving to Viterbo), but we are happy to cook for ourselves. We loved our stay here and would wholeheartedly recommend the house.

The house is old but wonderful. The garden is very big and the swimmingpool fantastic. The balcony has a great view and is lovely to have your breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is wel equipped. Only to rooms upstairs have airco. The rooms below not and that is a pitty because the rooms below are very huges. The rooms witg airco are small. The upstairs bathroom needs some renovation. There is wifi but it is bot working all the time. We do like cats but the cat named Kiwi was very cheecky. We could leave a door open because the cat run to the kitchen and eat our food. At dinner outside he jumped on the table and grabbed from our plate. The hosts are very friendly and communicate very good. We have had a great vacation.
