About this villa rental
Panoramic villa at the top of the hill in a 36-hectare estate is located near the Magliano Sabina exit of the Rome-Florence motorway, 5 km from the town, on the Umbrian-Lazio border.
Composed of ground floor and first floor which can be rented in full for 16 people. It has 5 bedrooms - 4 bathrooms - 3 sofa beds in the three living rooms with kitchenette - fireplace.
The villa can also be divided into three apartments: Panorama (8 beds), Blue Apartment (4 beds), Red Apartment (4 beds). There are 3 kitchens equipped with new appliances, Wi Fi in all apartments and the possibility of free parking inside the property.
It has large outdoor spaces - a panoramic infinity swimming pool with constantly moving water which, forming a small waterfall, falls into a long outdoor pool - hot outdoor shower - solarium - barbecue - washing machine - table tennis - basketball hoop - foosball table.
The villa which enjoys splendid breathtaking sunsets and a panorama that ranges from the Umbrian valley of Calvi to the Lazio countryside dominated by Monte Soratte is located in a strategic position between Rome (45 minutes by car) Viterbo (35 minutes), Orvieto (35 minutes) , Rieti, Terminillo (40 minutes). Being an isolated villa it is a very quiet place where the only sounds are the songs of the different species of birds present in the hunting reserve of which the estate is part or the bleating of the flocks and the bellowing of the stables not too far away.
Sabina is a still unspoiled region, protected by mass tourism that offers excellent cuisine and has, in addition to the bucolic and rural charm, important historical and artistic sites such as the Abbey of Farfa. Sabina was an important region of the Papal States and is now connected to Viterbo, the city of the popes, from 30 km of highway, Lake Vico and Lake Bracciano are therefore easily accessible and there is the possibility of being accompanied by boat from son of the owner. In addition, the villa is located right on the Umbrian border 3 km from Calvi and places such as Narni, Orvieto, Terni, Spoleto can be visited with daily trips. The agreement between Villa Mirella and the nearby restaurant with an excellent viewpoint allows you to taste the local cuisine at very low prices (15 euros).
Activities in the region include: trekking, horseback riding or mountain biking, canoeing, caving routes, golf courses, ponds for freshwater fishing and walls for free-climbing.

A great place to spend time with friends / family. It has a lovely pool with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and a large outdoor dining area to share meals together. An authentic Italian experience.

Villa Mirella is a well equipped, nicely furnished, very practical place, beautifully located on top of a small hill and under the trees that brings a welcome breeze in the heat of summer. The 360° view is a real delight as well as the complete calm without any close neighbours.
The table tennis table, table football, garden furniture and of course the large swimming pool make it an ideal place for days of rest after visiting the area. The area around is lovely although the house is a bit far from the main attractions (1h30 at least). The owner is very nice and helpful. He responded very quickly to all our requests and solved all the small problems we encountered with real efficiency

La casa è in una bellissima posizione panoramica con tanto spazio verde di proprietà e una piscina che quando la vedi te ne innamori. Magliano Sabina è un paese comodo per chi arriva con l'autostrada, decentrato rispetto le più famose attrazioni turistiche, ma l'ideale se si vuole tranquillità. Roma, Viterbo, Bomarzo, Bracciano, le cascate delle Marmore sono tutte località a circa un'ora di macchina, così nel mentre si può ammirare il paesaggio.
La dotazione esterna della casa è ottima: sedie a sdraio, ombrelloni, ping-pong, calcetto, barbecue e altro.
La dotazione interna discreta: letti comodi, frigo capiente, freezer, forno, lavatrice in uno degli appartamenti. Migliorabile la dotazione della cucina. Non c'è la TV, ma non ne abbiamo sentito la mancanza. Nessun appartamento ha il condizionatore.
Lo staff è gentile e disponible ad esaudire eventuali vostre richieste.
Eravamo 3 famiglie per un totale di 12 persone e siamo tutti soddisfatti di aver soggiornato a villa Mirella. Consigliato.

Der Ort selber ist wunderschön, einsame Lage auf dem Hügel. Der Pool ist genauso dramatisch schön, wie auf den Bildern. Allerdings werden einige Versprechen der Ankündigung nicht eingehalten: Die Besitzerin wohnt mit auf dem Grundstück, die Villa war aber als für den Gast alleine angekündigt. Handtücher waren entgegen der Ankündigung nicht vorhanden, Bettwäsche musste anders als angekündigt geliehen werden. Und die Küchenausstattung ist mehr als rudimentär.
