Colosseo Gardens - My Extra Home

Very spacious and attentive staff

Traveled with two kids aged 13 and 10. Very clean and quiet. The host was very responsive. We walked everywhere. It’s a 5 min walk to the Colosseum. It takes about an hour to get to the Vatican on foot, but a lot to see on the way! The apartment was located in a very safe neighborhood with a full service supermarket (Conad) that is a 3 min walk from the property. We ordered a ride to/from FCO through my extra home. The driver was on time. The kitchen is small but enough space for simple cooking. We will definitely come back. Highly recommend for families!

We had a wonderful stay at Colosseo Gardens for a week during our trip to Rome. The location is excellent—close to the train station, making it very easy to get around the city. The apartment is incredibly spacious, spotless, and located in a very safe neighborhood. We were three people during our stay, but the apartment can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. It has a double bed, two single beds, and a sofa bed, making it a great option for families or groups traveling together. One of the best features was the air conditioning, which was absolutely essential during our stay as temperatures reached 38°C (100°F). After long days of sightseeing in the heat, we were always happy to come back to the apartment and cool down. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops within walking distance, making the location even more convenient. A special thank you to Gladys, who welcomed us upon arrival. She was incredibly kind and attentive, taking the time to show us nearby attractions, restaurants, and useful places on a map. Her recommendations and warm hospitality made us feel at home from the very beginning. We highly recommend Colosseo Gardens to anyone visiting Rome and would definitely stay here again!
