Hin Wong Apartments Dive & Snorkel Resort

Quiet location on stunningly beautiful Hin Wong Bay. Amazing views from every room. Giant, shaded balcony for relaxing. Kitchen for cooking spaghetti, hamburgers, etc. Big, clean bed. 5 minute rude from town. Freedom bar short walk away (chill place with coffee, music, food and swimming).

400 stairs from parking lot, no air-conditioning (not really a problem because cool evenings with fan). No onsite shop for food, drinks, amenities).

view and location were amazing.

the noise from the ocean was really loud so sleep was disrupted.

Remote quiet location, beautiful view. Staff were very nice and helped us out with extending our stay. Road is steep but that's everywhere in Thailand. Did it with 2 people, luggage (2 backpacks), on a 125cc scooter no problem. Just don't be stupid and use both of your brakes. This is an off-grid resort, running out of generator/solar, so don't expect A/C. If that's what you're looking for, just pay 3x the price and stay in a tourist resort.

The patio with view was nice but some seating/chairs would be nice to have there.

The view was gorgeous, and if the waves weren’t so rough it would have been nice to swim. The space was big and there was a fridge. I enjoyed falling asleep to the crashing waves but some may think it’s too loud. The staff were friendly enough. There were many free books + a restaurant on site.

The mattress was so so uncomfortable and I got demolished by mosquitoes or some sort of mite… even with repellent and the net. The sheets were stained and the space indoors is quite small. The bathroom smelt really bad and there is no hot water (which was fine for us, but may impact others) It is very isolated and if you don’t plan on driving your stay will be very expensive due to taxis.
