Wonderful villa with private beach and big garden

We enjoyed our week long vacation immensely! Laura and her staff were extremely polite and helpful. We cannot say enough positive things about Laura! During our stay we enjoyed cooking and grilling at the house as well as eating out locally. The private beach provides direct access to the beautiful lake where we enjoyed swimming and kayaking. We are definitely going to make a repeat visit!

Villa Ondina is arguably one of the best houses, if not the best one, available for rent around all of Lake Garda. Once you see the crystal clear to emerald green water of the lake, you just want to be in it. And what sets Villa Ondina apart from the rest is its private beach. There are houses with direct access to the water, but I did not see any house with its own beach. This is important for families with small children. The little harbor of Barbarano is just outside the property. Private boat operators can use it for pick-up and drop-off, which is very convenient. You could do a one-day tour with a swimming stop at Isola del Garda followed by lunch in Sirmione, or you could cross the lake and have a nice long meal with lots of wine in San Vigilio and come back. No designated driver necessary. The interior of the villa is casual and elegant. Every room comes with AC. The kitchen is spacious and very functional - if you enjoy cooking, you will not be disappointed. There is a second fridge in the pantry, which is a big plus. The owner family is very friendly and helpful. Once there, you can tell that Villa Ondina is not just a vacation rental. It is part of the family. We spent one week swimming, boating, cooking and enjoying long meals with copious amounts of wine. We didn’t want to leave. Our experience exceeded our expectations.

We had a group of 8, 3 couples and a father/son, and everyone couldn't have been happier. Lots of room, very well maintained home nicely furnished with all the essentials and then some. The location couldn't be better. Laura, the property manager and daughter of the owner is attentive to your needs and an excellent source of information about the area. This is an grade A vacation spot! We will be back(all the way from Chicago).

Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub mit unseren Hunden. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und groß, das Haus ist sehr privat und das Wasserzugang mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten wirklich traumhaft. Supermarkt um die Ecke, ebenso Park und Promenade, alles fußläufig erreichbar. Die Betreuung im Haus war super, wann immer wir Fragen hatten, war Laura für uns da.

This wonderful villa is definately a 5star place. It was as pretty as all the pictures of the description. And Laura, the owner and manager was very helpful, if you needed any help. We can highly recommend this lovely place!

Für alle die einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub erleben möchten, ist die Villa Ondina eine perfekte Location. Das Haus ist einfach nur zum Wohlfühlen. Wir haben es genossen jeden Morgen direkt am Wasser auf unserer Terrasse zu frühstücken, Sonnenbaden auf der uneinsehbaren Terrasse und abendliches Grillen am Wasser. Die Villa Ondina ist ein wundervoller Ort um einfach mal zu Relaxen und Italien von seiner schönsten Seite zu erleben. In unmittelbarer Nähe waren auch alle Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs zu finden. Gardone di Riviera und Salo sind sehr mondäne wundervolle Orte. Hier ist alles noch sehr italienisch und nicht so touristisch. Es lohnt sich auch von hier mal in die Berge zu fahren. Man wird mit einem fantastischen Ausblick belohnt. Die Vermieterin Laura Angeli ist supernett und sehr zuvorkommend. Selten so nette Vermieter erlebt. P.S. Unsere beiden Hunde haben es hier auch sehr genossen. Selbst sie haben sich gesonnt und das Dolce Vita in vollen Zügen gelebt. Wir alle waren sehr traurig, als wir wieder nach Hause fahren mußten. We had a very pleasant stay in April 2014 at Villa Ondina. The house is perfectly located at the shore of lake Garda with a private beach an direct access to the lake. The garden is kept immaculate and very nice, especially in spring with all the blossoms. The house itself is spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. Near the house, a small supermarket is in walking distance. The handover of keys, the cleaning etc. were all perfectly organized. Laura, the owner was very helpful and gave us lots of tipps for restaurants and activities. This is particularly important because the area is very touristic and it's no easy to avoid all the tourist traps. I can absolutely recommend this property to families or groups of friends.

We stayed in this beautiful home whilst holidaying in Italy with another family. Our children (12 and 14) couldn't believe we were staying in such a huge house, it really does feel as if you have stepped back in time. There was plenty of room for our two families, and we were joined by a third family for a night. The house comfortably accommodated all 11 of us! The beds were super comfortable and Italian linens used throughout which were absolutely luxurious. Lots of pillows, towels, extra blankets and quilts supplied if needed. Although cold towards the end of our stay we did enjoy having drinks by the lake at sunset (rugged in our winter woolies of course). The kids loved the ducks and the squirrels. The kitchen was well equipped so we ate in almost every night. We particularly liked buying prepared food from a little delicatessan in Salo which we just heated through. The supermarket was within walking distance of the house which was convenient. We bought our pastries from the patisseria each morning (its just near the supermarket). We all enjoyed having wireless available as it had been a bit sporadic at other places we'd stayed. To enjoy the area a car is essential. The walk into Salo is along a busy road so it's better to drive. Gardone Riveria is closer and within walking distance. We drove to Arco one day where we explored the castle. Absolutely fascinating. We caught the car ferry across the lake with the intention of catching the cable car up to Mounte Baldo. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so we decided not to summit as it was a white out! Laura had recommended it as a day trip on a sunny day. The house is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Our linen and towels were changed half way through our visit. Laura is a very gracious host. We booked online 6 months before our stay and we had no problems with communication. Laura met us on the property and was quick to respond to any requests made during our visit. We mainly sought her advice on things to do whilst in the area. She even had a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us on our arrival! Her english is impeccable. Although we paid our deposit on line we paid the remainder in cash upon our arrival so make sure you have organised that. We really loved staying here for the week and talked about when we could return! It really was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay, in a perfect house. The Villa is charming, the furniture is elegant and the garden with lake is just amazing. Everything you may Need(like restaurents, Supermarket, newspapers,...) is just minutes away. I can highliy recommend this house for a wonderful Holiday.

We had an unforgettable stay at this villa which was situated near a small marina with boat rentals and about a 4 minute walk away from a park with sports center where we rented kayaks, played on clay tennis courts and there were ponies for the children to play with. Yet the villa was in absolute privacy, with our private gated entrance. Laura, the owner helped us find unusual restaurants in villlages in the hills, bait to successful catch fish, and we contracted with her to bring and serve breakfast each morning by our own beach. The lawn is expansive and we played soccer on it. The swans from Lake Garda joined us some days for breakfast. It is a dream place for a group like ours of 10 people. The kitchen was modern and fully equipped and the food store walking distance or a short drive with easy parking.We think that serene practical luxury, beauty and elegance are Villa Ordina

Die Villa ist wunderschön und die Lage am See natürlich unbeschreiblich. Eine Oase.

Sehr schönes, geräumiges und gepflegtes Haus mit Garten und eigenem Zugang zum See. Den Blick über den See haben wir schon beim Frühstück an dem großen Esstisch unter den Bäumen genossen. Tagsüber kann man die Sonne auf den zahlreichen Liegestühlen genießen. Restaurants, Supermarkt und Bäckerei sind fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche. Sehr schöne gepflegte Immobilie hervorragend ausgestattet in absoluter Traumlage , hier kann man perfekt entspannen . Der Service ist perfekt organisiert, der Gärtner erscheint regelmäßig, das Haus wird nach Absprache zwischen gereinigt. Die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort ist super kompetent und jederzeit bereit Hilfestellung zu leisten . Ein rundum Sorglos Paket . Vielen Dank wir kommem gern wieder

Hervorragende Lage und Möglichkeiten

Es war ein perfekter Start in das neue Jahr. Wir, eine Gruppe von (6 Pers.) haben dort eine wunderbare Silvesterwoche verbracht. Die Lage ist direkt am See neben dem kleinen Hafen von Barberano. Das Seniorenhaus hinten dran ist auch kein Problem, da um die Villa herum reichlich Parkplätze vorhanden sind. Die Villa war für unseren Besuch gut vorgeheizt, so das wirklich keiner frieren musst. Parmesan, Pantone und Sekt stand für das anstehende Silvesterfest bereit! Vielen Dank für alles, Stefano! Die Villa ist ausgesprochen sauber und auch in der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben 2 mal gekocht und der Herd in überformat hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Das Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach ist mehr für kleine Personen oder Kinder gut geeignet. Die Holzbalkon sind relativ niedrig, dafür gibt es aber auch einen super Blick zum See. Ankommen, einziehen und einfach nur genießen. Wir überlegen schon wann wir wiederkommen werden.

Tolle Villa mit Charme, großartige Lage, sehr gute Betreuung.

Wir waren Anfang Juli eine Woche Gast in der Villa Ondina und haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig und ausgesprochen schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden (Geschirr, Waschmaschine, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Handtücher, Strandtücher etc). Auch der Garten bietet viel Platz zum Entspannen, für Bewegung und zum Sonnenbaden. Unter den riesigen Bäumen am Wasser steht ein großer Esstisch, der zum ausgiebigen Essen im Schatten einlädt. Zahlreiche Liegestühle stehen zum Sonnenbaden bereit, zum Entspannen gibt es außerdem eine große, gemütliche Hängematte. Der Zugang zum See ist flach und auch für Kinder gut geeignet, das Wasser ist traumhaft klar uns sauber. Immer wieder kommen Entenfamilien und ein Schwan auf Besuch, was vor allem unserem Sohn sehr gut gefallen hat. Das Anwesen ist durch einen hohen Zaun und ein großes Tor gut geschützt vor unerwünschten Blicken von außen, man fühlt sich sehr ungestört. Das Auto kann im Garten im Schatten unter Bäumen geparkt werden. Neben dem Haus befindet sich ein kleiner, pittoresker Hafen. Ein kleiner, gut sortierter Supermarkt ist in ein paar Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen. Nach Salo ist es mit dem Auto ein Katzensprung. Wir (4 Erwachsene und ein Kind) empfehlen die Villa Ondina und Laura und ihr Team aufs Allerwärmste! Danke für die wunderbare Zeit, die wir am Gardasee verbringen durften!
