Absolutely not recommended

location

The only positives were the great location and the available parking. Unfortunately, that’s where the good things end. The apartment is much smaller than described, with slanted ceilings that leave very little usable space. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bathroom wasn’t clean. After I checked out, the owner tried to scam me — a few hours later he emailed demanding extra payment for a supposedly dirty towel (no details) and a higher city tax than what was originally stated and shown on Booking. Overall, he was not pleasant to deal with. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Perfect simple base to cover your needs

Perfect location to explore the city and region

No sound insulation against noise between levels (hence if your kids are lively like mine) but luckily upstairs people went to bed also.

Great suite not far from Centrum.

Easy 10 minute walking distance to Maastricht centrum. A 6 minute walt to a Albert Hein super market. Included a parking spot on site. Kitchen had everything I needed.

Not bad but note that my apartment was upstairs on the (US) 2nd and 3rd floors. The stairs might be difficult for people with mobility issues.

The apartment was spacious, clean and bright, having a good view to the park. The kitchen was modern, the facilities were excellent, the bathroom was clean and very spacious as well. The owner was friendly and very helpful. The apartment's location is excellent, just 10 minutes walking distance from the city center, in a very beautiful neighborhood. The price included a parking lot for the car and the owner allowed us to keep the car in the parking for several hours after our check out. That was very helpful and we appreciated it.

Right next to the master bedroom, there is the living room, which is connected to the kitchen. This is not a problem. On the contrary, the room is spacious and bright, but we were surprised when we realized that the sofa bed must be pulled out and the covers laid by ourselves. Linens and some towels were not available in the room, so we asked the owner to bring them to us. The owner was very helpful, but then we also realized that linens and bathroom towels, were old and worn out.

very clean & comfortable, had everything you need, nice central location next to the park and within walking distance of the city Center with private parking and easy access to a supermarket, hospitable hosts

noisy as it’s situated on a main connecting road with a lot of traffic. double glazed windows help to dull the noise however you still hear it throughout the day & night

A warm welcome and fantastic location make the Aldenhof apartment ideal for a stay in lovely Maastricht.

Our hosts were so welcoming and informative about the area and what to see. The apartment is well equipped and ideal for a short stay in Maastricht especially if you are there for the summer Andre Rieu concerts as it’s a short walk from the apartment to the square.

This was a appartement for 3 persons. One bed for one person was on the stair landing. A very small space. The toilet was fixed the night before but made non stop a returning noice. The price/quality for this appartement is not in balance.

The bed for the 3rd person was at the top of the stairs - effectively a landing! This wasn't quite what we expected, but it was OK. I think the property is really more suited to 2 people than 3

Nice apartment in great location with all the amenities we wanted.

The location was perfect since it was right at the outer edge of old city, but still a very convenient walk to anything we wanted to see in Maastricht, plus it was very close to an Aldi's grocery store. The apartment was just as advertised with the well-stocked kitchen on the lower level and beds upstair, and was a good combination of modern facilities in an older/historic building. My tall son enjoyed his extra-long twin bed located at the top of the stairs outside the bedroom. The main bedroom itself was very large with plenty of room for the three of us to spread out on the chairs and couches. There were lots of electrical outlets in all the apartment spaces for us to use and recharge all our electronics. The bathroom was big and very clean with plenty of towels. It was a great place to stay without having to worry about interacting with other travelers.

Bathroom door is folding, so not very solid, but it was still a door that closed off the bathroom completely which is often not the case in The Netherlands, so it was fine!

Fills like home

We decided to spend a couple of days without crossing the border of the Netherlands but with possibility to see the country from a different angle. Maastricht is very nice city and appartment location is also very nice. It is close to the citycenter and also to the nature where you can visit Sint-Pietersberg and the winery. A supermarket is also nearby. The appartment is big for family of 3-4 people, clean and light. All kitchen and bed stuff was present. The hosts are super kind and friendly. This appartment was a very good choise of us.
