Great place near Cape Town for a big group

Great place near Cape Town for a big group

This place is known as the Cape Town Kite Club during the prime kite surfing season, but 15 of our family members (half Americans and half South Africans) stayed there just to hang out together for a week during the “winter” in early July and it couldn’t have been more awesome. Beautiful big home with modern amenities. The weather was fantastic. Close to Cape Town. Just an overall incredible stay in an absolutely amazing place!

A wonderful place to stay with a large group

We had a wonderful experience staying at the BigBay Beach house during our recent trip. Garey has been super useful to make sure we have all we needed. The house is modern, well equipped for a large group and easily accessible. The lower level has one bedroom that sleeps three people and another that sleeps two. Each with a bathroom. The top level has a beautiful master suite with an amazing view. The other three bedrooms have two single beds each and all three rooms share one bathroom, a slight negative. On the positive, the place is spacious, clean and the kitchen comes well equipped with a supermarket and restaurants close by. If you have an easy going , large group, this is an excellent choice close to Cape Town but away from the crazy crowds. Do allow enough time to get back to the airport though since traffic can be crazy.

Great holiday

Great holiday

We had a great holiday. The house was close to the beach with fantastic views. We were able to walk down to the beach in our wetsuits and back again to shower off with no worrying about getting a car dirty. There are lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby and it is close to the Waterfront for good shopping. We had two young children who enjoyed the sun and beach by day and indoor fireplace and tv at night. All in all, a great stay.
