We expected a bit more for a 4* hotel. The view from our room was amazing

The property is beautiful, and had everything we needed.

The room did not fully meet our expectations. The toilet and the main door handle were broken. Although the balcony was spacious, there were not enough beds provided for the four of us, and there was an old, rusty tap. We were also disappointed that the health facilities (swimming pool and sauna) were located in a different building. Additionally, the swimming pool is positioned next to the restaurant, which meant there was little privacy, as restaurant guests, including non-residents, could see the pool area. This affected our overall comfort.

A fantastic hotel in a great location - would definitely return.

The hotel was very modern and well looked after. The room and facilities were clean. The indoor pool and spa facilities were lovely as was the outdoor pool and beach area. The view from our room was fabulous and we really liked Saranda. Would certainly recommend.

The only downside was the breakfast - it was ok but a little uninspiring.

Amazing trip

Our experience in Andon Lapa was absolutely perfect. I did book the double standard room but it was upgraded to Deluxe one that makes our trip much more enjoyable. The room has stunning view and so clean. The heated pool and sauna was amazing cause it was end of holidays season (October), so we enjoyed it almost every sigle day. Big shout out to Ellieana (my apologies if I spell it wrong), reception girl, she was so nice, provided us everything that we need, friendly and so helpful. Once again, thanks for your service. We love it.

we like the location, beach and sea view. Also, the reception girl ELEANA was so kind and helpful, we appreciate her assistance. I encourage her to continue to do the same to other guest and also, I would like her to suggest providing information what is available at the room, for example, tour information, mini refrigerator, restaurant menu etc.

Need to improve, jacuzzi, there is no hot water. At the room washbasin was block, need to improve. Breakfast option is not up to 4-star hotels standard, needs to improve and should have optional food, but not serve always the same food.

Disappointing experience - in an area with lots of choices, I would choose somewhere else to stay

Good location and has beach access which is not a given in Sarande. Breakfast was good - although the sugary artificial orange juice needs to be replaced.

I paid for a seaview but was allocated a room at the side of the building so was looking straight into another block of rooms - there was a seaview but it was very limited compared to the other rooms that all face directly to the ocean. In general the hotel is also in need of a lot of TLC - everything from carpet stains to threadbare towels to broken sunbeds are the norm. The staff were generally not helpful and everything you raised seemed like an irritation rather than something they wanted to help resolve. Overall, this was an expensive hotel by Sarande standards that was very poor value with a disappointing experience.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff.

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern and well equipped (except no drinks making facilities). The facilities are good. The restaurant is good. The location is great - a little further away from the centre, but walking distance to several nice shops and restaurants and of course with its own beach. But most of all, the staff at the hotel were exceptional, which made up for any minor dislikes. From the front desk to the restaurant staff, the guys on the beach and the housekeeping, they were all helpful, friendly, professional and conscientious. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

The rooms at the front are noisy at night from the noise of the street. Bring ear plugs! The beach is also used by the public so you have to race down in the morning and reserve a spot really early. People smoke around you all the time - at the beach, in the restaurant when you’re eating. There’s nothing to eat at lunchtime if you’re on the beach or at the pool - you either have a pizza on the beach or a full on dinner menu at the restaurant. There are no small plates to have something smaller. Also, salads are monster portions (this seemed to be a thing everywhere) so order appropriately. These are not major complaints - I would still stay there again. They are minor things that could easily be improved.

Very nice hotel in quiet area with free beach beds & umbrella.

Like the fact it’s on the beach (not private) but still possible to get beds for free if you get there early. Free parking, gym, pools. Clear sea water. Good evening dinner restaurant.

Breakfast was not that great, no fresh juice for example. Staff not v friendly on bar, the bar manager charged me 5€ for a water with flavor when the previous days they charged me 1€! Didn’t feel overly safe on the streets because of events that had occurred but that is not the hotels fault.

Excellent Hotel

Staff was very polite and courteous and the facilities were very good, hotel was well maintained. The beach at the hotel is very nice and everyone is very helpful.

Everything was very nice, the only small complaint is the room cleaning which was done everyday was not very good the bed was not made and bathroom sink was not cleaned.

Wonderful

I loved everything about this property, from the number of facilities to how spacious it was, to the hospitality of the staff. I would like to say a big thank you to Melina, she was an amazing host throughout our stay and very accommodating. The staff at restaurant were great too. So many breakfast options too, we wish could have extend our stay!

Can recommand this hotel for both families and couples. Big area with 3 different hotel facilities.

The location was perfect for swimming, enjoying lunch and beautiful view over the sea. The service was excellent and all staff are very friendly. Breakfast was OK, with a lot of fresh fruit, and all different alternatives. They seem to becoming better and are still improving the customer focused processes.

It is very nice that they are dynamic, but they miss out on informing the guests about all alternatives f.ex reservations and so on, so it felt as they were treating guests differently. Probably just a maturity aspect.

I would not only just recommend the hotel to a friend but would very likely go back again

The accommodations were what we were expecting, including direct access to the beach making it very comfortable for our stay there. However, the highlight of the trip was the staff, in particular Melina and Eli, which provided us with an extraordinary service, going above and beyond, being helpful, kind, resourceful, personable and very professional during our stay.

The only recommendation would be the entertainment at the accommodation, for example, table tennis, foosball table, beach aerobics, etc.). However, with so much to do around the hotel, this a more of a nice to have, as even if it was available we would likely not have used it during our stay which was packed with daily activities in the area or by the beachfront of the hotel.

Nice hotel but doesn’t meet international standards for price

Well located, walking distance to many shops, restaurants and a 20 min walk to Sarandes promenade. Reception staff were excellent and friendly plus informative. They really made our stay better, otherwise would have given lower score. Rooms were clean Lovely , pool, beach and restaurant food were good.

Restaurant staff lack training and could be friendlier Tables were not set for breakfast No duvet on bed, sheet only. Blanket was given, however I feel this should already be on the bed. No tea or coffee making facilities, it was a lovely view and it would have been nice to sit out on the balcony with a view. When asked reception they said I could have had this but once again should be in the room.

It was not worth the price we paid

Staff, Location and Beach

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations for several reasons: • The breakfast had very limited options, which seemed intentional to encourage spending more at the on-site restaurants — not ideal if you’re staying for several days. • Even the pizza at the restaurant was disappointing in quality. • The resort was overcrowded with children, so it’s not a peaceful or relaxing place. • Our room was quite small for the price we paid. • The beach umbrella provided was too small for two people — one of us was always exposed to the sun. • The sunbeds were placed extremely close to each other, with barely a meter between rows, which compromised comfort and privacy. • Wi-Fi on the beach was very unstable, with frequent interruptions. • During the night, there were guests laughing and making noise until 2 AM, and unfortunately, no staff or security stepped in to address the situation.

Modern hotel stunning views of the Adriatic Sea

Lovely modern hotel with amazing views of the Adriatic Sea . The reception staff are amazing they went out of their way to make us welcome & explain everything about the hotel & the surrounding area . Easy walking distance to lovely restaurants close by . The rooms are spacious but very basic no extras. Beds were comfortable. The pool & beach area was very nice.

Truely relaxing

This is a fabulous hotel. It is perfectly located, 10 minutes walk from the port, but not too close so as you would get disturbed from the boats. There is plenty of night life, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. The breakfast is very good, eggs many ways, toast, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal. Plenty of it. The bar and restaurant, aside from breakfast, is also very good. I ate there for some lunches and two evening meals. It was very good indeed, I had salmon tartare on two occasions, many Greek salads (won’t be able to eat feta for a couple of months), pizza, sea bass, octopus and squid and it was delicious. The local wine at the restaurant is great and the cocktails are delicious! All the staff were lovely, Athina was particularly helpful with recommendations such as the black marlin, a very good restaurant, and also terani car hire near the port, owned by mirela. We hired a car for a day and the fiesta was fab. A great run around. Roads were fine! So so so safe. It’s all very casual, so people will stop and have a chat on the road, but hey, chill out. They move soon enough! Back to the hotel, we loved Genci, a charming guy who tended the bar, alongside his cocktail-making wizard friend, Clavis. The breakfast waiters were great, really pleasant and good fun. And Valentino on the beach bar worked so hard in the sun making sure everyone was looked after. What a gem. Rooms are spacious and air conditioned! We were upgraded, twice even I think. The gym is really good and I was delighted the hotel had one. The equipment is excellent, they have a smith machine and free weights. Pools are clean and the hotel is on the beach, so you just dip in and out. Yeah, we’ll be back. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

It had everything we need. A small gym where me and my Husband spent training and burning all the calories that we had stored from the exquisite foods that we had eaten😊. Sauna and Steamroom were nice too.

Jacuzzi was really cold. Hope the water was set to be a little bit warmer.

The hotel claims to be a 4 stars hotel but the amenity is poor. You wouldn’t find the proper amenities of 4 stars hotel in this hotel like kettle, etc. Our bedroom didn’t even have blanket and rubbish bin! The sink is too far from the toilet, and bathrooms floor including the shower area made from marbles therefore very slippery as no grips and no rubbery floor mat

Luxury excellent stay with stunning view

Best accommodation we had in whole Albania! 1) Absolutely clean. 2) Beautiful big rooms with a stunning ocean view. 3) Great gym and spa. 4) Towels for the pool and beach for free. Comfortable beach chairs and umbrellas included. 5) Own beach part (for me the most beautiful in Saranda) with cristal clear water. 6) Very nice and helpful staff with great service. 7) The hotel is from outside and inside just amazingly beautiful, clean, modern and all around perfect! 8) Breakfast with a great choice. 9) Promenade and shops, bars, restaurants in walking distance.

Pool is warm, which didn’t matter for us. No coffee specialities in the morning for free.

A low-cost 4 star hotel

Very beautiful building, although without name whatsoever. Maybe its size makes up for it 🤔. Long story short, the building is an architectural marvel, kudos to the architects. There is a fine balance between metal, wood, glass and vegetation all throughout the property. The reception girl on arrival was kind, although a bit overworked. The Spa is a very nice and necessary addition. The temperature in both the hammam and finish saunas are excellent. Good shower comsmetics. The only downside are the rather restrictive working hours, only from 16:00 till 21:00. Should be 22:00, at least.

- There are some members of staff who are rude and don't speak a word of English. They tarnish the image of the hotel. - The water in the swimming pool has some acid smell and sticky texture. No idea what it is, maybe some chemical. It is clean otherwise. - No long chair anywhere in the Spa - You won't find most of things you find in 4 star hotels such as bathrobe or toothbrush but that doesn't matter. - The breakfast was quite a disappointment. Very limited choice of everything. Pancakes not available every day. Not a SINGLE natural juice. There is no Nutella, but some cheap inedible local stuff. Staff eating in the same area after guests. Very early finishing time at 10:00. - The personnel at check-out was total chaos, a bit chubby girl. I wanted to extend my stay, shown my reservation. She insisted on changing me the room, to another room of the SAME type, cause there is some group coming 🤦. I don't understand, what is the difference if the rooms are exactly the same, except that i'm gonna spend 1 hour moving rooms? She had it written in the system which room goes where and she just wouldn't do otherwise, she was just mentally stuck. At the end i was really disgusted by her handling of the situation that i simply cancelled my reservation. That's 100 Euros less for the hotel due to her disorganization and inability to think clearly & improvise. - The card in the room is necessary for EVERYTHING to work. Even A/C plugs. Meaning, if you left your mobile/laptop to charge while you're on the beach, on the brekfast or on a walk - tough luck, it'll be as empty when you come back.

Beautiful views from our terrace and overall amazing service and comfort

The staff were absolutely incredible and a total joy to deal with. They are a credit to this hotel and they made me and my family so welcome. We are from the UK and this was our first visit to Sarande and I am so happy that we chose this hotel.

Very good

The property's views overlooking the sea and pool were pleasant, offering a relaxing ambiance. Always willing to assist, the staff added to the overall positive experience. The hotel pool was great and well-kept. Access to the private beach was a definite highlight. Additionally, the property's proximity to the city center made it easy to explore the area. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, with the amenities enhancing the experience.

The availability and strength of Wi-Fi left much to be desired. It wasn't available on the beach, and its weakness in the restaurant made connectivity challenging. Upon arrival, the non-functioning shower was a letdown. Although the hotel staff fixed it promptly the next day, the initial inconvenience was disappointing. Another aspect that fell short of expectations was the condition of the bed sheets. Stains on the sheets were a recurring issue and diminished the overall comfort of the stay. While there were certainly positive aspects to my stay, these drawbacks marred the experience to some extent.

The hotel is beautiful! They even upgraded our room, giving us a room with a view, thank you for that. Athena and Sophia were amazing, so friendly and caring. I used the spa and the service was great. The room is great, good bathroom, great shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The AC worked well. The breakfast was amazing, a lot of options and everything was delicious. The restaurant and the bar accepts credit cards (this is important to mention since in Albania they mostly use cash). The location is also good, 15 minutes walk from the port.

The bar and restaurant needs more options and the staff could be more attentive. The tv was basically a computer screen.

Awsome and Great

Andon Lapa is awsome. Its been my 4th time in Saranda and i can say Andon Lapa is the best hotel in Sarande. Its really familar, friendly and full of heart. The location is perfekt and top in the middle of the hotel route. And last but not least; The People who work there, are 500% SOFIA, Greidi, Mariklen, even all of them are Phenomen... Thx for the great time and the awsome Service. We will come back insha Allah

Exceptional

The property was beautiful. The location was very close to everything you could need or want to experience in Sarande, while still being private and a quiet oasis from the loud music and bustling Sarande promenade. The private beach was a huge bonus. The gym was brand new and had more equipment than your average hotel, you could get a serious workout in, if you wanted to. The staff offered to pick us up from the ferry terminal and drop us off at the bus station which made our arrival and departure a breeze. We felt very spoiled staying here and would definitely return.

It is obviously a very family and kid friendly hotel. Not a complaint at all, but if they were an adult only hotel, it would have made using the pool a bit more relaxing.
