a perfect location in Upper Engadin for a family of 4

Perfect location from where to explore Upper Engadin. The residence is in a quiet location, off from the main street and we had a great apartment overlooking the Inn Valley.

The kitchen could have been slightly better stocked e.g salt and oil was missing. Otherwise it was all really a great stay and they were very responsive to our requests.

Pricey stay in tiny town

We recently stayed at Hotel Miragolf unit 2 in Madulain for two nights. While the location was ideal—Madulain being just 20 km from Zernez, home of the Engadin Radmarathon, made it convenient to cycle there in the morning—the apartment itself had a few drawbacks that impacted our overall comfort. - The kitchen layout was cramped, with a microwave cabinet obstructing access to the fridge and misaligning the kitchen table from the ceiling lamp, which led to frequent bumps into the lampshade. - The two-burner stovetop was too small to fit two saucepans at once, limiting cooking functionality. - In Switzerland, it’s customary to provide individual duvets, however we booked a queen bed and got two single beds pushed together. - The shower consisted of a handheld unit in the corner of the tub. Its intense water pressure routinely blew the shower curtain open, soaking the entire bathroom. -The photos on the website are not accurate. We did not have an apartment with a view rather it was facing the back street and below grade. I hope this feedback helps improve the quality and accuracy of future listings, and I truly appreciated the convenience of the location for cycling events.

A great stay in spite of the domestic limitations

Visited many times before. Lovely village on a quiet back road. Very well placed for the railway station, good parking and only 1 mile or so from a well stocked Co-op in Zuoz. The apartment was clean and well decorated, and furnished comfortably in the traditional style.

The facilities and layout of the many apartments is very variable and unpredictable on booking. On this occasion I had booked a two bedroom unit but the second very tiny, single room was up a short, narrow and awkward staircase with dangerously low headroom for a normal adult. Fine for young kids! Sadly there was no oven which made meal preparation challenging and the power cable for the microwave appeared to have to reach a plug above the cooker! Our “balcony” was more of a tiny one person niche…only useful if you unfortunately have a smoker in the party!

A list of "how to behave" was waiting for us on the table. Threats that every non-respected point being sentenced with 25chf overcharge. This was very unpleasant and non-professional for hospitality. We felt that the owner just wants our money but would prefer us not to stay there. Advertised included sauna and instead 10chf each plus booking mandatory.

Warm and comfortable staying

The flat was comfortable, very clean and with enough space. I loved the facilities of the 2 balconies. The kitchen is well equipped. We had a great time

The place for the car is very narrow so if the neighbour car has not parked properly you might have to look for an alternative

Superb

Great apartment on two floors, full kitchen with everything, good size sauna in house across the road. 10 min drive to St Moritz and skiing.

Parking was very narrow and when the person next to us was a large bus, we didn't fit anymore. Pillows were not great, too flat and lumpy.

Ruhige Lage im herzigen Madulain mit Bus und Bahn in der Nähe. Kein Einkaufsladen im Dorf.

Wohnung ist herzig gewesen. Schlicht aber schön. Lage ruhig. Innerhalb des Komplexes eher ringhörig. Bus und Bahn in kurzer Gehdistanz.

Für Winterferien ist kein Skigebiet in der Nähe zu Fuss erreichbar, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel oder Auto notwendig. In der Wohnung hat es für Winterferien zu wenig Abstellfläche/Aufhängevorrichtung für Skikleider. Es steht, die Wohnung ist gut ausgerüstet, hat aber keine kleine Kaffeemaschine. Parkplatz in Garage ist zwar ein Vorteil, aber viel zu eng. Man muss sehr zirkeln um rein und raus zu kommen. Abfahrt zum Miralago und der Garage ist ziemlich steil, daher bei eisiger Strassenunterlage fast unmöglich nicht ins Rutschen zu geraten ohne 4x4. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf ausser Brot und Gebäck.

Sehr schöne Lage, direkt im Grünen, sonnig mit schöner Aussicht. Die Küche ist bedingt zum Kochen geeignet, kleine zweier Herdplatte. Keine Kaffeemaschine oder Ofen, aber sonst hat es alles, was man braucht. Sehr sauber und gepflegt, sehr nette Verwalter an Ort.
