Great, basic hotel in the forrest

Great place in the forrest. Newly built. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but well designed (walk in closets), nice large windows with view into lovely pine trees. We were at the annex building, probably recommended since it is away from the dining, breakfast area in the main building. Great breakfast, fantastic Bircher Muesli. Very nice, helpful and accommodating host. Make sure to arrive at the announced time as the host is not always at the property (although they just leave your door card somewhere). It was very quiet. We had temperatures up to -16 C with lots of snow, so fantastic landscape around the hotel. Amazing walks in the snow covered forrest. The cross country tracks are just down the driveway. We liked not being in town in some (typically old and run down) hotel in Switzerland.

1. The price is a little to high for what is basically a double room in a hostel type accommodation. Although the service is great, the room is rather ...functional. 2. Others have mentioned it, the floors in the rooms are cold, the room also (at least when minus temperatures outside). There is no way to increase the temperature. The blankets are warm and comfy though. It was too cold though to sit on the (uncomfortable) sleeping sofa. Definitely bring slippers! 3. The wall between the rooms are paperthin. You can hear every word from the neighbours. The rooms can accommodate up to 4 people (sleeping sofa and a flip down wall bed). We had one night with three younger men beside us. We could hear every word, every door banged, every youtube video being watched until 00.30....We did ask them to keep it down and found they werent actually very loud. It is just that the wall dont insulate noise at all. So you can hope you have considerate neighbours!

Großartiger Aufhalt mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!!!

Von der Unterkunft kommt man per Postbus und Skibus problemlos ins Skigebiet. Die Zimmer sind sauber und groß genug, es riecht herrlich nach Kiefernholz. Die Matratzen sind fest, das angeschlossene Bad komfortabel und mit heißer Dusche. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und ausreichend. Abends kann man sich in der gut ausgestatteten Gemeinschaftsküche selbst versorgen. Das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und hatte gute Tipps für uns für die Wahl der Pisten.

Die Gemeinschaftsküche war akustisch schlecht gedämmt und dadurch wurde es schnell sehr laut.

Die Unterkunft steht in Mitten der Natur, sehr schön. Was wirklich sehr aussergewöhnlich war, dass es sehr leckeres glutenfreies Brot (auf Vorankündigung) gab.

Jederzeit sehr gerne wieder, auch im Sommer ein Top-Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und für den Hund stand sogar ein Wassernapf mit "Willkommensgeschenk" parat! Es hat mega viel Stauraum im Zimmer, sowie im Bad. Die Lage ist mit Hund super, direkt in der Natur, Strasse weit genug entfernt. Wandernetz geht direkt vom Haus weg. Frühstück war nicht ausgefallen, aber genug und gut. Wir kommen hier sehr gerne wieder her.

Leider war der Ausstieg aus dem Auto gleich etwas holprig, es war sehr eisig am Parkplatz. Hunde haben im Haupthaus keinen Zutritt, aber das ist okay. Frühstück fällt halt dann etwas kürzer aus;-) Tee und ein Wasserkocher wäre noch schön auf dem Zimmer, aber man kann im Haupthaus etwas holen.

Work und Travel vom Feinsten

Authentische Schweizer Erholungstage, Toll außer der Traumhaften Lage waren zB praktische Details wie ein begehbarer Kleiderschrank. Hochwertige Naturholz Möblierung und sehr gut funktionierendes Internet über WLAN. Fantastisches Frühstück.

wunderschön im Wald, man hört etwas die Strasse, aber die Umgebung mit alten Bäumen, Wiesen.... traumhaft

einziger Mangel: wenig gesunde Alternativen zum Frühstück (hätte mir Gemüse, ungezuckerter Joghurt... gewünscht), aber man kann sich super selber versorgen (Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kühlschrank und kompletter Ausstattung
