Beautiful rooms with balconies overlooking the river.

Beautiful, tastefully appointed rooms with large balconies directly overlooking the river. Innkeeper is very kind and creates a warm atmosphere.

A bit pricey. Breakfast is available for one hour only, which is a bit inflexible and can create a crunch in the breakfast room and a short wait for freshly cooked items. Some noise from street and railroad tracks, which is however effectively blocked when windows are closed.

Lovely hotel, the breakfast was delicious, room was clean. The owners are very friendly and kind. We had room with a large terase with a mountain view. WiFi is free.

We liked the positive attitude of the owner, she was very helpful and attentive to all the details. Breakfast was delicious, rich and of high quality. This hotel has the best view in the area, It has balconies over looking the river directly without any obstacles.

We arrived late & there was a mix up with my reservation on my end. Our host was so understanding, helpful and kind and able to help me and my children stay the night and have a lovely breakfast in the am. We'll be back for sure! Thank you again!!

Old charm but lost its character

The staff was very friendly and went out of her way to make our time comfortable and greeted with a pleasant smile at all times

The hotel is directly next to a rainwayline and you can hear freight trains pass buy in the middle of the night. Not the most appealing neighborhood. While it is scenic we arrived on a saturday and all but two restaurants were open, when you walk the streets you get a sence of the past glory of the neighborhood. The rooms are dated and very basic.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit Lage am Rhein- perfekter Ausgangspunkt um das Mittlere Rheintal zu erkunden

Sehr liebevoll geführtes Hotel, mit schönen Zimmern (unseres hatte einen Balkon mit Blick auf den Rhein), einem gemütlichen Frühstücksraum & leckerem Frühstück und sehr freundlichen Eigentümern. Vielen Dank.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit eine guten mischung aus familiären flair und professionelität.

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr schön am Rhein mit einem wunderschönen blick in die Ferne, bei welche schön entspannen kann. Der Frühstückstisch hatte fats alles was man sich vorstellen ein besonderer Schmaus waren die frisch zubereiteten Rühreier.

Klitzekleiner Punkt: beim Frühstückstisch hat der Schokoaufstrich gefehlt. 😉

Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm und wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Auswahl war sehr groß und auch spezielle Wünsche wie zum Beispiel ein gekochtes Ei wurden zur vollsten Zufriedenheit erbracht. Das Personal konnte auf Sehenswürdigkeiten gut hinweisen und auch Tipps liefern, wann gewisse Attraktionen stattfinden. Die Lage des Zimmers ist grundsätzlich gut. Dies hängt auf der anderen Seite davon ab, wie das Zimmer liegt. Im Elternzimmer war ein kleiner Balkon, von dem man auch den Rhein und die Schiffe bewundern konnte.

Auf jeden Fall wäre es besser gewesen, wenn ab und an mal jemand in der Rezeption gewesen sei. Man könnte dort einen kleinen Arbeitsbereich einrichten für administrative Aufgaben und gleichzeitig die Kunden dort in Empfang nehmen.
