A pleasant one night stop, good breakfast and view of the river.

Its position, the balcony and view. The breakfast was very good. Stephanie dealt with a small concern we had and was very helpful.

On arrival on 4th floor there was an awful smell on the corridor and in our room (404) however on reporting it when we returned later in the day it had been dealt with. The parking is very tricky and there seems to be little info or advice from the hotel itself. No direct parking opposite the hotel so it’s a fair walk down the promenade to find a place to pay for a parking space if you are lucky. More help required please.

The breakfast was lovely. Their restaurant food is also delicious and I ate there twice with family who were staying nearby. The room was very clean. I had a single room and the bed was very comfy.

I have no complaints.

Lovely Hotel in Boppard

This is a lovely family run hotel who take a lot of care to look after their guests. Brilliant location, riverside in the centre of Boppard. Absolutely loved our view of the river and watching the river traffic going past. Very comfortable beds, shower was great. Fantastic breakfast. Had dinner in the restaurant - very good. Highly recommended.

No car parking on site, hotel doesn’t have room for it, so nearest parking is about 150 metres away in maktplatz, which is free 6pm to 8am, 1euro per hour for max of 2 hours in the day

Bed bugs!!! In the middle of the night, I started itching like crazy. When I turned on the lights, I saw dozens red welts all over my body. I looked behind the bed and immediately saw three live bed bugs and exoskeletons, which suggests this has been a long-standing pre-existing issue. My sheets were smeared with blood. We begged the owner’s daughter to let us hot dry our clothes, so as to not spread it to another place, but she wouldn’t let us. We tried to visually inspect our things, but the owner’s daughter kept asking us to get out, so that they could “disinfect” the room and get new people in within an hour. With a real chemical treatment, no human being can be in the room for at least 24-48 hours. We found out that they asked the maid to spray the room and put people in the room that very night. DO NOT STAY!!! In the third photo, you can see the floor on the ground floor where you enter reception for breakfast. I have a video too, which shows the bed bugs and pans out to the room. Would be happy to share. Save yourself the bites and possibly thousands of dollars it will cost you to get bed bugs out of your house if you take them home. There are many other nice hotels in Boppard. Avoid this hotel and their unethical practices!!

Nice but tiring break.

Handy location on the river Rhine. One of the members of staff was very lovely and helpful. Good shower.

Unfortunately the church bells ring very loudly every 15 minutes from 6am to 10pm. No air conditioning so we had to have our windows open. No chance of a relaxing holiday lie in. Big queue for the coffee machine at breakfast.

It was a wonderful base for a fascinating and beautiful place to explore, with the kd boats.

A single room with a view is a rare treat, in such a lovely location looking out over the rhein was amazing. The privacy and security made for a relaxing stay. Gorgeous location and a great breakfast, with tables on the riverside made it special.

I would have liked to see more information at reception, a board with maps, what's on locally, though there was an excellent tourist information hall nearby, I did not find that right away.

Pleasant hotel in a beautiful location.

The Hotel overlooks the Rhine which is lovely. The room had a small fridge which was helpful in such hot weather. Breakfast was good.

The shower was very small so unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. As smoking is allowed on the balconies I could not use our balcony as I was sandwiched between chain smokers. This was very unpleasant as I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke. It would be good to have one floor where smoking is not permitted at all. If you find it difficult to sleep when trains are passing regularly through the night it would be advisable to ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

Great for all our requirements for a three night stay. Breakfast has always been good but has improved upon that high standard. Staff are great.

Disappointed that the bar closed early each night also not prepared to take a repeat booking for next year.

Balcony overlooking the Rhine was amazing. Very comfortable bed. Cute cozy room. Unbeatable location near boat dock and central market directly in front of the river, and close to all. Hotel restaurant had a yummy dinner. Free breakfast was good.

A few of the front desk folks were very unfriendly bordering on rude. The shower was really tiny.

Very enjoyable stay (our second time). Would recommend.

Helpful, pleasant staff. Stephanie was superb and made us very welcome on arrival. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Meals were very nice too. Parking is easy too. Spaces on the promenade on a pay meter basis.

The gentleman who took over at 10pm could have been more friendly. He didn’t exude the same warmth or welcome of the other staff.

This is the 3rd hotel we have stayed in at Boppard and whilst we liked them all,this is now our favourite, balcony over the river ideal.

Bedroom and balcony with river view very pleasant and food in Italian restaurant good.

Only 1 Tea/Coffee machine available at breakfast , which also supplied milk for cereals, hence queues each morning and chaos on 2nd morning when the machine broke down - a disaster waiting to happen every day. Also the casual dress of the staff.

Wonderfully located hotel on the Rhine promenade, very friendly staff (special thanks to Stefania). Comfortable rooms exemplary cleanliness in rooms and bathrooms. Very rich breakfast for all tastes and excellent coffee. The restaurant has a special pizza and a beautiful terrace on the banks of the Rhine, greetings to the waiter Cosmin. Thanks for the warm hosting.

I have to make a mention of parking. THE HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE PARKING. There is public parking on the entire esplanade, very cheap 4 euros / day, but which has nothing to do with nearby hotels. Only by a miracle can you find a parking space here.
