It’s a lovely house and the owners are delightful. The bed was comfortable and we had the biggest, deepest bathtub! The breakfast was delicious. We especially enjoyed our conversations with our hosts, and won’t hesitate to recommend Cranach House as a great place to stay.

Proprietors were so cordial and helpful with local suggestions and information. Had beautiful view of grounds out our room window. Room and bed was comfortable. Fortunately, weather was cool, so room temperature was nice. Lovely historic home. Breakfast was wonderful. Different selection of foods each morning.
Nothing negative as we enjoyed our stay. Arrive during daylight as Carnach House sign on road was a bit hidden with the trees.

The house had been wonderfully restored to an exceptional standard with beautiful understated decor. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was new but perfectly designed. Breakfast was excellent with choice of cereal, prepared fresh fruit, yoghurt, full cooked or smoked salmon and eggs, toast, tea or coffee and fruit juices.
I couldnt find fault with anything at this beautiful, old house and grounds.
