Cozy and welcoming

First time I give 10 to a structure on booking in over 10 years and after hundreds of hotels. I've stayed in cheap hotels, for 40 euros a night, and in expensive ones, for 2000-3000 euros a night, but few have been as memorable as this. I felt taken care of and welcomed at every step across the hotel, from check in to check out. You can see it's a family run business and there is a lot of love put into everything, dinner is very good, staff are always polite (even the one waiter who doesn't recognize any of the dishes!), manager is often around and making sure things go smoothly, pools are nice.

Small things that do not detract for the overwhelmingly positive experience: a few more bits of gears in the gym would go a long way, like a cyclette or tapirulan. The doors in the bedroom balcony did not close easily, and there is a peg missing to block the door that gives access to garage. All easily fixed.

Comfortable Stay with Limited Pool Access for Kids

Overall, the hotel was nice, but there was one major disappointment for us. Upon arrival, we were informed that children are not allowed in the pool, except during the mornings. While it's true that this restriction is mentioned in the hotel description, it was still difficult to accept, especially since our daughter had been looking forward to swimming throughout the entire trip. The room was fine, the breakfast was decent, and the location was excellent, with plenty of parking available. However, the pool restriction was a real letdown for us as a family.

Great service, amazing food, and stunning views – a truly enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super friendly and the room was big, clean, and comfortable. We absolutely loved the "all-you-can-eat buffet" at the bar if you ordered drinks. The dinner was simply amazing, too. The view of the valley and the hills was incredible and something we’ll never forget. If we’re ever nearby, we’ll definitely stop by!

Perfect hotel

Everything was perfect!! We had a perfect time with our little daughter (4 years old) She enjoyed to stay in the playing room and to swim in the pool. And we enjoyed the spa !!! the location was perfect for exploring the area and the countryside of valle d’aosta .

Good choice to spend a few days in Cogne, next to the Paradiso National Park, with many opportunities to trek around the

The Spa, including the outside sauna and jacuzzi. the views from the room, and the location in the middle of the village and next to the ski area. The hotel also offers free charging station for electric cars and garage space.

Breakfast offers always the same short menu. Personnel is not well trained and their attitude is cold and not welcoming. Heating is interrupted at evening and the temperature in the room is not comfortable during the night.

A great hotel in the best possible location.

The hotel is located just off the meadows of Cogne, overlooking the natural reserve and the Gran Paradiso mountain. Hiking trails are available just off the main entrance. Rooms are spacious, modern and very clean. The small pool and spa were fantastic after a hard day's hike. The hotel restaurant was also very good, and the breakfasts were delicious and generous.

Great staff, accommodations and food.

The staff was very attentive and helpful and the food was great! We didn't use the spa as it's not our thing but many there did. If you read below you'll see that the staff tried very hard to remedy a tough situation not of their making and all of them were super professional and kind.

The room wasn't the one we booked but it was probably more of BOOKING.com's problem than the hotel. We upgraded the room and the upgrade was verified by "booking" but the hotel was surprised when we arrived. They tried to do everything they could to find a different accommodation but the hotel was completely full was was every hotel in the village. I'm giving the hotel a high rating, booking.com a 3/10 for minimal effort and not accepting accountability. I'd contact the hotel directly to avoid this miscommunication. The only other problem was there's a kids public playground out back and there is no late night noise ordinance and there are VERY noisy kids. It was hard to get to sleep a few nights as they were loud well past 10-11pm and I mentioned to the hotel they need to figure that one out.

Perfect peaceful getaway!

We enjoyed the variety of amenities (pool, heated outdoor pool, saunas, steam room, jacuzzi, the outdoor area, and the bar lounge). The hotel is perfectly situated such that the back faces the glorious mountains and the front leads directly to the main street of the charming tiny town.

There was nothing my wife and I didn't like about this hotel. We would highly recommend it to everyone. Its the perfect peaceful getaway!

the hotel is in a splendid location, with fantastic views of the mountains, the staff is helpful and polite, the spa was clean and very relaxing, massage services done well and at a reasonable price, breakfast has high quality food with local products, everything was fresh and tasted great.

breakfast starts late at 8 am and we need coffee when we wake up - suggesting to put a small coffee capsule machine in the room. While the spa opens at 9, hammam and sauna do not work until 11. No room service.

Last minute stay and it was wonderful!!

The spa was fantastic! We both had a massage and it was wonderful! Serena was wonderful. Our servers Aldina and Ahmed were also wonderful. And upon arrival Sarah was so nice and helpful. The entire staff made our stay fabulous!
