Magical snow land

What a stunning stunning place. The views are incredible, Cogne is such a charming town and Bellevue is a very special hotel. The staff are so friendly, the whole place feels like my imaginary rich nonna’s house with a brilliant spa. The restaurants are great too, especially the brasserie and the fromagerie.

In some aspects it is a bit too nonna’s house, like some of the knock knacks, and the toilet paper, towels and hair dryer which do feel more like your older relatives’ house than a luxury hotel. I think those would be easy things to update to make the hotel feel even more special, especially to younger customers.

Idyllic!

A really charming, traditional style, family run hotel. We loved the location, which is not only convenient but is set in the most picturesque spot overlooking the valley. Our room was charming and comfortable, just like the rest of the hotel, which is filled with paintings, portraits, local antiques and history. The Spa is fabulous too. 5 Stars

A wonderful property, an exceptional location and true hospitality!

This is a very beautiful property and the location is incredibly beautiful with superb Mountain View’s. The staff are exceptional - there is nothing that they cannot arrange for their guests. Two members of the staff deserve special mention, Claudia and Sophie.

Can't wait to go back

This is a hotel that goes above and beyond in every aspect, yet does it in an unassuming and quiet way. If you care to look it's obvious how much thought has been put in to each detail. It is well-deserving of the Michelin recognition it has achieved. The location is to die for; the hotel manages to feel quaint while at the same time being quite luxurious. We particularly appreciated that the spa was included in the room price (aside from services such as massages). We did day hikes in the area during our stay, but it would have been easy to hang out at the spa all day long. The salt room was our favorite. The breakfast buffet wasn't the largest we have seen, but each item was delicious and there was nothing lacking.

Worth the beautiful view and facilities.

This is an amazing hotel. The spa is absolutely heavenly and there are tons of different saunas to choose from. It is 100% percent worth it to get a room with Mountain View. The view was unlike anything else. The decor is lovely and there are lots of details and amenities that add to the experience.

There were a couple things that were just slightly disappointing considering the price of the stay. The shower in our room was very poorly designed. Water did not drain properly and ended up soaking the entire bathroom floor every time. It was very uncomfortable not being able to take a shower without stepping out into a cold puddle. We had dinner at the main dining room one night and we were very dissatisfied with the food. We ordered pasta and steak. The pasta was bitter and did not have a pleasant flavor. The steak came out incredibly overcooked to the point where we had to send it back. They did give us a better steak the second time. All the food came out at different times and my husband was done with his dinner by the time my main course was coming out. Overall not the best dining experience.

Top lokatie!

Fantastische lokatie, ontbijt en service.

We had a 3 day stay in this beautiful hotel. We traveled as a couple with a dog. We were granted a "chalet": (2 bedrooms with stairs in between) and a small outside terras. The room in it self was beautiful, full of character and clean. However, we experienced a lack of comfort while showering (standing in a bath in the corner); also in the absence of AC the window had to be opened which generated a lot of traffic noise in the bedroom as of 5 in the morning. Also mattresses could have a somewhat higher comfort class. These should all be issues for the hotel to overcome (given the price tag). A further advise: be clear of the limitations and costs for the dog (which may be understandable in itself). As a consequence we had to have breakfast outside (perfect in this time if year), but we're unable to have dinner in the exceptional restaurant the hotel offers and which was one of the reasons why we booked this hotel.
