There wasn’t anything not to like. Would have preferred the option of a later breakfast as on holiday and that extra hour would make a difference. But the breakfast itself was fantastic!

Rejuvenating relaxation.

The room (4) was a good size, the bed was comfy, the shower was great and there was plenty of coffee. To cap it off Dave and Sue are lovely hosts. The Trefoil is quite close to all amenities and is a good starting location for any number of hill and coastal walks. I would definitely recommend.

It's a pity I was only there for a couple of days as I would have liked to have stayed longer.

Nowhere better to stay in Brixham!

A very warm welcome from Dave and Susan, and Bodie the dog! Our room was cosy and we had everything to make it a comfortable stay. The information pack in our room was very detailed and up-to-date with helpful suggestions for activities and restaurants. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - extensive choices, perfectly cooked to order and beautifully presented. We loved our 2-night stay at the Trefoil - such a shame we couldn't stay longer!

The premises was spotless, very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Great location, 15min walk to the centre and Harbour. The room was spotless, very comfortable and well kitted out. If you needed anything the hosts Dave and Susan were there to assist you. Will definitely visit again and recommend.

Perfect place for your stay in South Devon

Beautiful and comfortable room with all facilities needed for our long weekend stay. Convenient location for hikes and discovering South Devon area, even when traveling by public transport. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, and made us feel welcomed. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back in the future. Plus, their breakfast is five stars!

Excellent stay

What can I say but I loved everything about Trefoil guest house. Susan and Dave was so welcoming. Very clean everywhere food was lovely. Bathroom clean and shower was lovely. My main best part was the bed was amazing comfortable and obviously clean. I would like to know where they got the mattress from and the duvet and cover best night sleep iv had in ages 🙂

Fabulous stay at Trefoil Guest House

We felt welcomed from the moment we met our hosts. Room was very comfortable, clean and bright. Home cooked breakfasts were delicious. Location was walking distance to the town centre. Sue and Doug were a wealth of information re thing to see and do, places to eat etc. Thoroughly recommend this B & B

On arrival we were met with a very friendly warm welcome from Dave and Susan, who had emailed us earlier to say we were welcome to arrive earlier as our room was ready. We were helped to our room with our luggage and everything relevant to our stay fully explained. We booked breakfast for our first morning from a fantastic menu choice. The breakfast was fantastic resulting in us booking breakfast every morning of our stay trying most of the choices from full English, eggs Benedict, eggs royal and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to name a few, all accompanied by tea or coffee, choice of cereal, fruit juice and toast all of which were excellent and very well served. A big thankyou to our hosts Dave and Sue for making us so welcome and should we visit that area again in the future, we will without doubt be staying with them again. Thanks for a lovely stay

Fair but not great.

Attic room was spotless but tiny. After an initial friendly introduction, things took a decidedly uncomfortable turn when, after asking for a jug of milk, I had the temerity to step over the threshhold of the landlord's living room, to say hello to their dog (I'm a dog person) and was swiftly chastised for my actions and told forcefully to remove myself forthwith! Another reason to stay in a hotel, rather than a guesthouse!!!

Lovely people, felt very welcome and that nothing was too much of a bother. Our room was super cosy with a super comfortable bed, slept very well. Would definitely recommend the home cooked breakfast, great overall atmosphere. Would definitely book in to stay again.

Made you feel welcome. Sue and Dave were very pleasant room was clean and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk.

Nowhere to put 2 bath towels to dry after shower so were damp most of the time. I know it is quite modern not to have a wardrobe in the room now days and just a silly rail, but I think this makes the room untidy with clothes all over the place

Lovely place, people and property!

Sue and David were excellent hosts and made us extremely welcome. We stayed after attending a concert of the Carpenters Experience at Brixham Theatre which too was very good. Our room at Trefoil was Room one, one of six available, and it was spotlessly clean and well presented. Being an elderly couple it was situated on the first floor so most suitable for our use. Having an en suite is always needed and was just what we required. Our stay this time was very short but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely area as a five star base to explore from. My rating is 5/5. Exceptional

Trefoil is a lovely guest house run by a very nice couple, Dave and Sue. The room was very clean and nice and warm for a winter break. We had a super king bed that was very comfortable and there was a fridge for cold drinks which was very handy. There was also a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast choice is good and very nice. It's about a 15 minute slow stroll down to the harbour and you probably couldn't park much closer for free than outside the Guest house. We would recommend Trefoil and will stay again
