Standouts for us were Steve, the owner, one of the most interesting people we've ever met. We never met Matt, his partner, but he made a fantastic breakfast every day of our stay. Plenty of parking was a great bonus. It was great to have a bath in the room. The owners were very relaxed; they even said we could bring a takeaway back, as long as we consumed it in the dining room. We'd never been allowed to do that before. We met lots of returning guests, always a good sign.

Breakfast was great - more than I could eat on both mornings, but it was beautifully cooked.
Slightly later checkout time would have been nice, but this is literally the only thing I can think of.
