Couldn’t have had a better break

Excellent exactly as advertised. Angelina and Stephen were impeccable hosts. Most hospitable and very approachable. Property was spotlessly clean, warm and inviting. Can’t speak highly enough about it. Definitely booking again.

BRIXHAM GEM.

Myself and my partner Norma have travelled all over this Country and stayed in dozens of hotels and guest houses but Churston Lodge was easily by far the best accommodation that we have ever stayed.Angelina and Stephen the proprietors we're a really lovely couple and couldn't do enough for us starting with a teapot of tea and biscuits on our arrival, a nice little touch after our long journey down which we enjoyed in the sunshine on there beautiful patio. The whole establishment is spotlessly clean and bedrooms are all lovely decorated to top spec. Angelina certainly knows how to make a lovely Breakfast I stuck to the full English during our stay which was cooked to perfection piping hot and plentiful whilst my more adventurous partner Norma enjoyed eggs benedict one day and eggs florentine another both of which she really enjoyed and presented like a work of art Angelina would do well on Masterchef. It takes about 10 minutes to walk into Brixham but if your a bit unsteady on your feet there is a bus stop in close proximity to the guest house with a Number 12 bus literally every 10 minutes and the same coming back up to midnight so we used it quite a lot seeing that we both had bus passes and you can get the bus across the road which will take you to Paignton or Torquay. Anybody booking with Angelina and Stephen will be guaranteed a really nice holiday we really didn't want to come home there such a lovely genuine and accommodating couple 10/10.

Very enjoyable!

Good quiet location about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Brixham, clean and tidy, lovely room with very nice en suite, everything you need to make it an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very good and well presented. Hosts were fantastic and very helpful, would definitely stay again.

Amazon guest lodge, at a very affordable price!

Churston Way Lodge is without doubt an exceptional bed & breakfast. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well equipped and very very comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, filling with nothing being too much for the hosts to provide. I have hesitation in recommending this b&b if you are to visit the English Riviera. Thank you to Angelina (and Steven)!

Quiet location on edge of town. Ample parking. Nice size, clean and comfortable room. Great host, who makes a five star breakfast with five star service.

Home from home - quite literally!

Lovely welcome - the breakfast was huge and we didn't need lunch after eating it! The location was a 20 minute walk from the centre of town but it's on a bus route with buses every 12 minutes and a stop 200 yards away! And there's parking which is like gold dust - we were in Brixham for the Pirate Festival!

Nothing - we had room 7 which had a separate but private bathroom (we knew about this when we booked) but that was hassle free too.

It was well located, good onsite parking, bus stop right outside for Paignton and Torquay and leisurely 10min walk down to harbour. Very clean with a lovely spacious dinning area. Room was clean and comfortable with a good selection of beverages supplied and restocked daily. Excellent breakfast, well cooked and very fresh, very good menu choice with ample provision for all appetites. Outstanding value for money and certainly more than a 10 score!

Can't recommend Churston Way Lodge enough. Nice location and cleanest room we've ever stayed in. Wonderful friendly service and amazingly cooked breakfast. Will be coming back if we're in the area again.

Perfect host, good location and a lovely visit to Brixham.

Angelina is the perfect host- friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room was lovely, where it was a warm weekend, we were given a fan to make our stay more comfortable. The little touches thought of. Breakfast fresh and tasty as well as organised. Easy stroll in to the harbour. A great stay in the beautiful Brixham.

The mattress was a little hard for me, but everyone will have a different preference and a later breakfast time of 09:30/09:45 would of been preferred but these are minimal issues and did not affect my stay in any way.

The guest house was in an ideal location and the family room suited our needs for our stay. Angelina was very welcoming and there was lots of choices on the breakfast menu. A very pleasant weekend break.

Recommended for a short break

The room was clean and fresh. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfasts were brilliant - freshly prepared using good quality ingredients. Angeline and Stephen are friendly and approachable and provide a warm welcome. Location is perfect; far enough away from the centre of Brixham to be quiet, but close enough to walk to the centre and the breakwater. Bus stops just around the corner meant we could leave the car and make use of the excellent bus services in the area.

There wasn't anything to dislike.
