Beautiful surroundings, staff and quiet!

Lovely quiet bungalows resort with friendly owner and staff! Beautiful view of the beach/sea and nice pool to cool off. I intended on exploring Koh Lanta more but loved it so much I spent most of my 5nt stay on site. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Also had an onsite restaurant for lunch and evening meal. Location was great in terms of closeness to the pier and walking street/night market but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful surroundings! Tours are clearly displayed at reception (I recommend the Koh Rok full day, snorkling was amazing!) and also booked onwards transfer to Koh Lipe. Bungalows were basic but sufficient, yes could do with a refresh and could have been cleaner but wasn't an issue. Pool towels were lovely. Also shout out to owners brother who borrowed me a hairdryer which I really appreciated! Please note this is a family resort so expect some children and it is not for those wanting to party. That said such a lovely vibe and friendly atmosphere amongst the holiday makers and staff. I would stay again and recommend to those wanting a quiet stay with Thai charm. Honestly felt at home and didn't want to leave!

Only minor things for me but worth a mention. Wifi was hit and miss in my bungalow but I had enough data anyways. Although there was a couple of bars/restaurants opposite or up the road, you did have to walk into town for a 7/11 which is a good 10/15 mins walk and at night it was dark and not much lighting. Tuk tuks cost 100baht each way which was a better option.

Warmly welcomed, top location.

We arrived there directly from the fishing trip. That alone was cool entrance! We were warmly welcomed, got 2 really nice houses. Location is amazing, near the beach and night market. Views were really nice, when you are chilling next to the pool and observing the sea and the sky. It's also interesing how far water retreats during tide (plenty of little crabs everywhere). For the beach time - get yourself a scooter, 5 min drive you'll find great spots. We loved it here and would recommend to picke them

Breakfast that was included was authentic Thai cuisine, but also offered fresh fruit, toast, juice, coffee, and eggs.

Room could have been provided with a blow dryer. The towels were not absorbent. Also an additional pillow for Comfort on the bed.

Perfect stay

Really great place, lovely pool. Right on a big, tidal beach, great for long walks with lots of wildlife to spot. Walkable to the night market but take a torch, very handy for the pier.

Room basically a shack extremely basic put my toilet bag in the bathroom and quickly surrounded by ants. Was afraid to get up to the bathroom in the night.Booked for 3 nights and left after 2 was really glad to leave.

Excellent, we loved the place and the family operators, will return.

Family operated resort who loved children. We had two beach front bungalows with a connecting door for 7 nights for around AU$900 (part shoulder rates). The two primary school kids had single beds in one room, and we had a comfortable double bed in the connecting room. The pool was directly in front. The best part was as a family we had two showers and toilets. The kids lived in the pool and ventured on sand flats during low tide. Lots of quality restaurants within walking distance, especially one only 150 metres away, although bikes made the stay much easier. Facilities including rooms cleaned daily.

As other reviews say, the buildings are dated. Resort rated 2 - 3 I believe, which would be correct. However, that did not detract from the stay. We loved it. We made our own fun. It might be too quiet for some, but we loved that aspect. Importantly, we felt the kids were very safe. The kids tell me that it is a little far from things, including 7 Eleven, however, activities like the monkey tour will come and pick you up.

Very nice for north Ko Lanta

The are was beautiful with a quiet beach right on the doorstep and 10 minwalk to the town with streetfood and shops. Room was clean and comfortable, fridge was appreciated, shower in good order. Pool area was good and comfortable.

Perhaps the place has seen better days pre covid, as it looks like it's been quiet for a while and slightly run down but it didn't bother us. We preferred the chill vibes of this place and location.

Exceptional

This is a fantastic friendly family run place and the owners really care about making sure things are right and they want you to feel welcome. You see them morning and night attending to the gardens to ensure they are well kept. The location is good, right on the beach and about a 10 min walk to the harbour area and night food markets but far enough away to be very quiet. The resort can provide you with a scooter rental service and will even arrange laundry to be cleaned. The view from the beachfront bungalows are lovely and worth the extra money. WiFi was very good, shower was powerful, big fridge. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They also had a couple of lovely friendly cats.

Amazing view

The staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The view from the hotel was incredible (the main reason for booking this hotel actually) they had a swing which over looked the beach and it really was a stunning view.

For the price we paid there really wasn’t much more you could want

Lugn och harmonisk resort precis vid havet.

Vi hade en fantastisk vecka på Salatan Resort. Genuint och personligt. Vi bodde i en bungalow med utsikt över havet och poolen. Dessa bungalower har vacker utsikt och ligger längre ifrån vägen, vilket är positivt med tanke på en del trafikljud ifrån vägen. Personalens fina bemötande skapade en lugn och harmonisk stämning på hela resorten. Perfekt läge precis vid havet och ett härligt poolområde. Aldrig någon trängsel eller paxande av solstolar. Skönaste sängarna so far på vår rundresa i Thailand. 5-10 minuters promenad till nattmarknad, restauranger och butiker. Finns även en restaurang och en bar precis mittöver resorten. Det finns möjlighet att hyra scootrar i bra skick direkt på resorten. Stort tack för en fin vecka!

La gentillesse de la propriétaire de l'hôtel et de son personnel, sa disponibilité et son dévouement (merci pour ma valise retrouvée). Emplacement exceptionnel sur la plage, très calme. Chambre agréable, très bon wifi. Très bon petit déjeuner. Meilleur hôtel en Thaïlande sur les 4 visités. Nous reviendrons l'année prochaine.

Cichy resort nad samym morzem

Bardzo fajny resort z domkami, w cichej okolicy i przy samym morzu. Czysty i ciepły basen przed domkami z widokiem na morze. Same domki nieco przestarzałe, ale dobrze wyposażone i czyste w środku. Śniadania raczej standardowe (jajka pod różnymi postaciami), ale dodatkowo codziennie różne, dwa rodzaje tajskich potraw. Przemili właściciele, którzy starali się spełnić każda naszą prośbę.

Domki z widokiem na ogród... to właściwie domki z widokiem na ścianę domku poprzedzającego i kilka krzaków. Przydałoby się nieco rzetelniej opisać to w ofercie, żeby nie było nieporozumień.

Úžasný personál. Klidná lokalita s dostupnými obchody a restauracemi. Bungalov pár metrů od vlastní pláže. Vlastní bazén a sprchy. Výborná kuchyně. Americká snídaně v ceně ubytování.

Ubytování dobré, jen málo úložného prostoru a vybavení a vlastní bungalovy by snesly částečnou rekonstrukci.

Sehr freundlich und aufmerksam geführt! Die Lage super Frühstück ausreichend und wenn etwas vom warmen essen übrig ist, bleibt es dort zur freien Entnahme ebenso der Cafe. Die Freundlichkeit und Lage reichte zur um 3 Tage zu verlängern.

Die Bungalows sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Le petit déjeuner facturé 8 euros 300 bath. À ce prix là , il devrait y avoir de bonnes choses du vrai pain des crepes des pan cake , du bon café .du vrai jus d orange . Le salé n est pas top Si vous réservez à plus de 50 e la nuit c est trop cher !! La piscine devrait être refaite . Les chaises longues lavées ! Vu le nombre 14 . Et nettoyer plage ! Un petit coup de rateau tous jes jours Faut rafraichir l établissement .

交通至便でビーチに面したのんびり宿

フェリーやスピードボートが発着する波止場から徒歩20分。観光市場やレストランも徒歩圏内で交通の便が際立って良かったです。また、目の前がビーチで遠浅の海が広がりのんびりできました。

バンガローが総じて古く滞在中に隣のバンガローの屋根のスレートが外れて落ちてきました。ドアの建て付けも悪く隙間がありましたが、これは特に問題になりませんでした。ハイシーズンで満室が続いているようで簡単ではないと思いますが、メンテナンスに力を入れていただけると更に素晴らしい滞在になると思います。

Das Team des Salatan Resort könnte nicht besser sein. Es sind alle unglaublich aufmerksam, herzlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Die Lage ist super, die walkingstreet sowie mehrere Supermärkte und der Ort sind problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Kodikas perhehotellin ilmapiiri. Rauhallinen paikka rannalla ja kuitenkin melkein keskustassa. Uima-allas oli kiva ihan rannassa. Isäntäväen ystävällisyys ja avuliaisuus oli huippuluokkaa.
