Very comfortable hotel in a great location for touring around the area. The staff were lovely. Very clean. Nice pool. A special place.
The WiFi wasn’t too good. There should be heated towel rails in the bathroom. We used local taxis to try out different restaurants and were ripped off which was annoying!! Beware.

Heated pool was fabulous. Appreciated the non slip surfaces all around as well as in pool. Also the jet stream in pool for a challenging swim and jacuzzi. Umbrellas for use during the rainy spells. Close to Normandy beaches.
Poor cereal options and eggs were not very appealing. Coffee machine didn't heat very well. And as typical in France, no decaf! Noisy neighbors.

Lovely hotel, close to Bayeaux. Wish we'd had more time to use the pool area and garden.
Breakfast was good and and lovely interiors in the hotel.

The staff were perfect hosts. They were happy to make a dinner reservation at a family friendly local restaurant with delicious seafood. The rooms were luxurious and we enjoyed the large swimming pool later in the evening. The garden is a pleasure for walking and relaxing and has many seating spaces.

Pool was great, particularly as the weather was hot.
The staff were excellent, particularly the girls. Very helpful with booking everything.
The bathroom floors were like skating rinks! How they have not had any accidents... We heard similar comments from others.

The ambiance and staff are outstanding. A great location close to all the main D-Day memorials and Museums.
Restaurant was closed on the Monday night we stayed.

Location and avenue
Overpriced and underwhelming. Set up to cater for one off American visitors to the Normandy beaches. Noisy stuffy room near road and a very poor nights sleep. Poor breakfast at 25 eu a head

Was last minute booking as our original accommodation was very poor. We got the last room, staff were pleasant Hôtel was beautifully clean and of high standard. Room was lovely with large spacious area, large bathroom, and freshly made up daily. Down side to room was the sloping roof which I badly hurt my head on the first night and I’m short! Had to bend each time I was getting into and out of bed. The teasmaid wasn’t replenish. There was a beautiful spa room but I had only used it once due to the thick grin around the hot tub, I did report and they advised they would get it fixed asap. You need to ask for the sauna to be put on in advance but they did that fine. Don’t expect any English breakfast here it is all local cuisine but again fine enough if you’re happy with continental breakfast style. The grounds are beautiful and the whole experience left me happy enough to look at rebooking when going back to France next year, so local for all the sites with bunkers on the door step.
Not enough choice at breakfast like yogurts, no cold milk for cereal.

Amazing location and estate
Dinner at the restaurant was amazing!
Could do with some refreshment of the spa. It is quite cold atmosphere in the Spa area, and you have to ask in advance for the sauna to be turned on.
Service at the restaurant could be faster;-), and it would be amazing to have a bit more fresh fruits on the breakfast table… (old bananas, and tin box fruits don’t really match the standing of the place, especially compared to the amazing dinner! Coffee machine is also poor quality at breakfast..)

The property, grounds and staff were charming and made us feel very special to stay at such a beautiful Chateau! Our room was large, and bathroom was updated! The location was close to Normandy tourist attractions including Bayeaux! Due to our late arrival and leaving early we did not get a chance to enjoy the pool, bar and breakfast; however, we look to visiting again.
Nothing - Everything was lovely!

Lovey gardens and indoor seating areas.
Breakfast ok.
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly.
No lift. The spa was in a separate building on the grounds.
Plus, shower over bath, which I could not use due to my age.
Was there for 3 nights.

Beautiful premises (inside and out), rooms comfortable and reception was accommodating to a late arrival. Restaurant also accommodated a veg option. Great location to visit Bayeux tapestry and d day landings sites.
Spa could do with a slight refresh, would be great to have alternative options to high end food. (Bar snacks?)

There is very little not to like about this Chateau. Prices at the bar as expected are quite steep but the quality cannot be questioned. The staff are extremely polite, helpful and want to make your stay enjoyable. Facilities are great with the pool jacuzzi and sauna available form early to late.
Restaurant was fantastic and the food was sublime. Hearty continental breakfast was great standard
Yes I would go back
Room 23 needs a wardrobe to hang shirts and dresses for the evening, that is my only gripe.

Beautiful chateau in a lovely setting. The 6-course meal with matched wines was superb. The other evening meal we had in the restaurant was also excellent. The Hors D'Oeuvres and drinks served on the terrace were very good. The atmosphere on the terrace was soothing. The breads and desserts were exceptional. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The fruits, meats, and cheeses served at breakfast were very good. The breads and pastries were outstanding. However, we did not like the scrambled eggs, which were lukewarm at best and had the consistency of a creamy soup. They were more easily eaten with a spoon rather than a fork! A chateau of this class should have a station where omelets and other types of eggs are prepared to taste. The coffee maker in the serving room did not work the entire time we were there (4 nights). We were able to occasionally get a cappuccino or espresso from the kitchen, but the wait was often quite long due to the sparse staffing for breakfast.

Beautiful property great grounds. Good breakfast
No Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi lost on Friday and was reported to reception but still no Wi-Fi by time we left on Monday despite telling reception.

Nice environment, pool etc.
Other than Michelin dining no other option other than travelling into town (although in restaurant they can cater for kids). Rooms can be hot as understandably no AC.

The location is superb, the castle is very authentic with a splendid garden. The staff is very friendly . The restaurant and food is almost “Michelin-star” worthy.. breakfast is superb
Unless all efforts there is nog enough staff to give a 4 star quality. For that the Castle and rooms need
Renovation .. No airco we knew but Windows cannot be opened in a way that it can give confort.. bathroom must be renovated.. room was not cleaned one day but the staff came to rectify it.

As a hotel, it was very nice. The room was well-appointed, comfortable and clean; and the setting of the hotel in a private park and in a substantial building was all very agreeable, as was the reception.
Their restaurant was a catastrophe. At 2030 I sat for 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. No drinks, no bread or menu. It was not crowded. When, at 9 pm, I ordered a main dish and a dessert, I told the person taking the order that I was at the end of a very long day and wanted to be served rapidly so I could get to bed asap. At 9:30 pm I had still not received the main course, so I cancelled the dessert and stated that if the main course did not appear within 10 minutes, I would leave. It arrived five minutes later. To be fair, prices were reasonable and the staff did not charge me for the glass of red wine that I had ordered, in atonement for the poor service.

Unfortunately the breakfast was over priced for the limited choice you had.
The room we stayed in was quite small and didn’t have a proper shower.
