The property is beautiful and gorgeous, a real fairytale castle. The location is excellent, very private but close to charming Honfleur. We were lucky to sunbathe , swim in the pool in October and just chill around the swimming pool. The staff were very nice, polite and helpful
We had a standard room which, unfortunately, did not meet our expectations. It was just ok, without a certain character and not quite comfortable. There was no door to the bathroom. The wardrobe was open and located in the bathroom while the toilet was a tiny separate room located in the bedroom. It seemed more logical to exchange them. We did not notice that our room was cleaned and had to ask to empty litter bins in the evening.

Absolutely amazing property and location. Spa hotel and bucolic surrounds with exceptional food and service and lovely modern rooms (in keeping with the historic buildings). Looked like a storybook from the photos online but when we are arrived we were blown away. If you're looking for some rest and relaxation and a chance to charge your batteries I would recommend Les Jardines de Coppelia. Very close to picturesque Honfleur but once you arrive you probably won't want to leave.
Absolutely nothing. One of the nicest, most restful places we've ever stayed.

The pool was good and the location is superb. The car charger is free. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is 30 EUR, but it doesn't worth it at all. We came an hour before the end and half of the plates were already empty. Coffee is not self-servable, you have to wait for someone to bring it for tens of minutes. No vegetables at all. And small variety of other food for this price.
Wi-Fi is basically non-existent here. Only a few places in the ground floor where you can have good signal. No cell service and almost no Wi-Fi coverage is not acceptable in 2025.
Room #3 is located above the kitchen back entrance and it is impossible to open the windows because of the smell from the kitchen and cigarette smoke.

The service at the restaurant was appalling!

Beautiful hotel just outside of Honfleur. Great cuisine (more fancy restaurant was closed so we tried the brasserie which was actually more bistronomy very good!) nice and comfy spacious room w a great bed. Spa area well equipped and maintained after which you can enjoy a relaxing moment at the outside pool. Worth a detour!

A beautiful 17 century maison turned into a hotel, with beautiful gardens too.
The swimming pool area is pleasant and the garden view from the room is nice.
The standard room is tiny, the shower would require renovation and 28€ per pax for breakfast seems a bit too much.

It is located in a quiet area with its own flower and pond garden and small farm. Rather charming. The breakfast is really good, homemade and local. Easy to reach other small towns. Beautiful scenic in close vincity. The hotel is run by a family. The staff is very friendly. All in all, lovely place.

Wonderful location, surrounded by orchards. Fascinating architecture. Easy walk down to ‘cider farm’.
The restaurant was closed. limited choice of food at the bar.

Beautiful settings
Staff were fantastic
Rooms were lovely
We weren’t told the restaurant was closed and we had made a booking. It left us with a major problem of getting food as we hadn’t eaten all day. It would have been helpful to know that when we checked in .
The plug in the bath was broken and we were told they couldn’t fix it until we had gone x. Only a bath with a small shower head in the room.

The building and gardens were amazing.
Sound proofing is an issue. You don’t want to spend 600€ a night and hear the guy next door walking the stairs or sneeze.
Same goes for the spa, the soundproofing is really bad, there is no wall between each room. I was hearing the guy next door snoring…

loved the hospitality, location, rooms, and outdoor seating.
the dinner was Michelin quality, but not best suited for my teenage children. I asked about that when making the reservation and was told they would be happy.

The location is phenomenal. It's on an idyllic acreage just outside Honfleur and has everything you need for a fantastic getaway in a quiet location. They have thought of everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The bedding is premium. The food is delicious and features a variety of locally sourced cheeses, yogurts, and more. The spa is a quaint oasis, and the pool is beautiful. When you arrive, each member of your party gets to choose a custom soap for their stay. It's a nice touch that was above and beyond.

Great place. Great view. The Garden is magnificent. Free parking. Nice Interior design. Great location.
I had a call before arriving to inform that the restaurant was closed two days (that was not clear at the moment of booking). I was not able to confirm but was also not informed that of the two other nights, one of the nights the restaurant was also closed for a mass BBQ. 75 Euro is way too much for one BBQ.
So, I was disappointed that there was no place in the restaurant, but there was no help from the staff.
When asking for an alternative, they directed me to a beach cabinet Le spot, which was far away from what we were looking for (and it was even closed).
You have to be early to conquer a seat at the swimming pool.
A lot of dogs present.
There was a lot of dust in the room, which has no air conditioning. On a hot night, it is almost impossible to sleep. The fans are somewhat of a relief, but they do not cool down the room.
Some of the staff are not very responsive to needs. But in general friendly people. Management is not flexible. They need to understand what customer experience is all about. It's not the great venue alone, it's also how they deal with customers.

Marvellous grounds! 15 mins walk to the beach, beautiful old woods surrounding the property, own fruit trees and kitchen gardens, beautiful seating areas and tasteful play areas for children, nice pool, beautifully restored building and nearly brand new rooms. Staff was overall very friendly and helpful.
A bit unpractical for families (as all nice hotels are), but they tried to make things work. For instance the restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and when it was open it only opened at 7/8 and was often fully booked. Room service wasn’t more than 4/5 choices of cold sandwiches, so not really an option. The nearest restaurants to get food during lunch time and early dinner was in Honfleur, about 15 mins away.
We ended up having to prep camping like meals in the room.
The value for money was too high. Obviously considering the location etc it would always be more expansive, but €20 for a bottle of water was a lot.
