Wildescape Polonnaruwa

街からは離れるが（トゥクトゥクで5分程度）野生動物に囲まれて静かに過ごすには最高。スタッフはみな親切でホスピタリティは最高。プールがあるのも良い（気温のせいで温泉プールの様…）食事は宿のレストランで朝昼夕ともに取れ美味。遺跡巡りはトゥクトゥクチャーター3時間で5000ルピー（約2500円）涼しい午前中がおすすめ。また行きたいHOTEL！

Location is okayish, close to polonnaruwa ancient city but not too close to the actual town. But that is fine because they offer lunch/dinner as well. Food was okay.

We stayed here for one night. The property is located near a small forest and within a small garden. The room was clean but basic. Staff was excellent and very helpful. They served us tasty vegetables breakfast. Swimming pool we didn’t use but looked good. We found few families staying here. Overall this property is recommended for a small stay.

We enjoyed our time at Wildescape with staff being the highlight of the stay. Chanila and all the staff were so attentive, helpful and kind. They kindly helped us pump up a tire on our tuk tuk saving a stop in town. Even offering to wash the tuk tuk! We also left a personal belonging and amazingly they arranged for it to be sent to our next accommodation and would not accept any payment for this. The pool was refreshing and a lovely place to spend a few hours. It would be wonderful if they had a few more sun lounges for when multiple guests are at the pool. The breakfast was substantial and a choice between western and Sri Lankan. We tired both options which were great. We also had dinner one night. Although it took quite a while to cook it was delicious and we enjoyed some cocktails. Our room was pleasant and clean. The water pressure was a little lacking and the room didn’t have a fridge but they kindly let us use the fridge in the kitchen. We liked that it was a calm and quiet environment surrounded by nature and only a quick 10 minutes to the town centre.
