spacious, modern, clean, everything you needed, balcony
the only thing I didn’t like too much was the road it was on, very back street. but was central which was great. no free parking during the day.

Great location - right in the middle of the city centre, 10 mins walk from shops and Exeter cathedral. Easy to collect keys from a lockbox so no waiting around for an in person handover - and very clear instructions sent through. Spacious bedrooms, big bathroom with bath and separate shower unit. Big kitchen (unfortunately we didn't get to use it) and comfy sofa and cosy living room area (open plan). Hosts were very easy to communicate with, via Booking.com messenger and SMS. Able to use the heating to warm the place up at night which was a nice addition. They also provided lots of tea and coffee and a little bag of Celebrations chocolates which was lovely :)
Apartment smelled of smoke even though there was a no smoking policy. Bed was so-so - pillows were good but no headboard and soft mattress so didn't sleep very well! Blinds in bedrooms were quite thin so didn't block out enough light (may be personal preference!). Bathroom was a good size but could do with some love - the shower pole came out of its holder while I was in the shower! Toilet seat was broken so wasn't level with the bowl and the toilet roll holder was loose on the wall. It did the job for a last minute single night stay but could definitely do with some improvement.
