Deluxe Apartments Lagoon View

Evocative of an Old World luxury apartment in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet, it’s unlikely this place will disappoint. Located in the delightfully residential Giudecca it offers all the aura and vibes of Venice without the heavy tourist pressure. The apartment is great, the neighborhood is great, and the host is great. The arrangement is more an Airbnb than hotel so remember to bring your own Nescafé pods, etc. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurants, markets, vapo stops, etc. but we tended to appreciate the serenity that offered. From your bedroom window you can enjoy sunrises and sunsets over the vast Venetian lagoon. Can’t wait to go back.

Mosquitoes! Very clean, nice location but have to use water bus to go anywhere as the flat is on an island.

The aparment is situated in a quiet area on Giudecca. It is ideal for a holiday. Less than 10 minure walk from the vaporetto stop of Sacca Fisola. It was clean and had all essential features. You can enjoy a nice view of the canal from the apartment. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay away from the mainland. Only a short vaporetto ride to reach the tourist attractions of Venice. The staff were responsive on WhatsApp and give you detailed instructions on how to reach the apartment.

We got a 4th floor flat (with lift). All windows open onto a canal view. The flat was bright, airy, uncluttered and everything worked. We did not use the TV, no need with views like that. Breakfast with views, slept with windows wide open and got some really nice breeze as their air flows through the appartment efficiently. No mosquitoes. The host was very communicative, send the code on time (if you follow the procedure, there is no issue at all). the host kindly put the aircon for us before our arrival, but we switched it off when we figured out it wasn't needed. Get your supplies for breakfast and take it easy every day. 3 nights recommended, less would be too rushed, and allow half a day at least to wander around Guidecca, which is the residential area of Venice, much nicer.

Who has hidden the wine glasses? In a prosecco land, it's not a good idea not to have nice wine glasses in the flat. Basic provision such as tea, coffee, would be great. There were salt, sugar etc., but that first breakfast supply would be nice. But it is imperative to provide wine glasses please!! Trash management is a big issue in Venice, we understand that, but to enjoy the flat without prosseco will be missing a trick! Otherwise, it's the place to be.
