I have nothing negative to say. we were stressed about having to throw away the trash, which we were not able to do because the drop off location was opposite of where we needed to be to get to the train station. we didn’t have trash so I hope it was okay that we did mot empty.

Beware of the mosquitos and the lack of control over the air-conditioning system.

Wonderful and well appointed large 1 bedroom apartment on Giudecca that enjoys easy access to the main island by vaporetto from one of 2 stops located close by; thus allowing one to explore Venice and its attractions without having to stay amidst the throngs of tourist.

Unfortunately the heating and cooling system is automated and not fully controllable by the guest. As we were visiting in the fall the temperatures were still warm in the daytime and there was no way to turn on the air-conditioning to cool the place so we opened the windows which created significant problems. Being surrounded by water, some of it standing, not surprisingly there are mosquitoes. With the open windows pesky little Venetian mosquitos, seemingly dozens and dozens of them, invaded the apartment and before we realized what was happening we were tattooed with numerous bites from head to toe. What was really annoying was that there was some strange (to us) devices that were sitting in the kitchen that appeared to be air-fresheners but in fact were abatement devices that you fill with insecticide laden tablets that heat up and kill the pesky little insects. If only we would have known about the potential problem and been instructed as to the solution we could have been spared a bit of misery. As it was our whole time in Venice and for a few days afterwards, was diminished from all the itching and scratching from the damn mosquito bites. This one seemingly inconsequential oversite on the part of the owner to either make the a/c controllable or provide guidance about the mosquitoes turned a 10 star experience into a 7 which frankly is a real shame as everything else about the place was fantastic..

L'appartamento è bello quanto un albergo a 4 stelle, se non oltre, con il vantaggio degli spazi e la comodità della cucina. Le foto non sono aggiornate, ora c'è un bel TV LG da 55 pollici. La posizione è adorabile e la Giudecca è super consigliata, vi immergete nella storia dello Stucky. Verifica online Purtroppo, Nel momento del bisogno si ritorna a preferire un hotel. Purtroppo la manutenzione non è ancora di livello.. Il bidet perdeva ma ci è stato segnalato ed era solo uno su due, il ferma porta è danneggiato lasciando le viti in bella vista (occhio ai piedi scalzi), invece il miscelatore della doccia ha smesso di funzionare, lasciando aperto il getto dell'acqua senza possibilità di fermarlo, obbligandoci a chiudere l'acqua dell'appartamento e aprendolo solo in caso di bisogno, la maniglia della porta è caduta. Ma la cosa peggiore è la sensazione di essere addirittura noi il problema (invece della soluzione) per il miscelatore. Non è stato offerto nessun rimborso nonostante il disagio, simbolico si intende, neanche della tassa di soggiorno ma soprattutto neanche una scusa o un grazie per esserci accontentati. Si è respirata non curanza e sentire la stanchezza al telefono di chi dovrebbe gestire l'appartamento invece di mantenere la tranquillità vista l'offerta da parte nostra di risolvere in modo alternativo mi ha seccato. Quel giorno avevamo un concorso pubblico e mi è pesato perdere tempo per risolvere un problema importante rischiando di allagare l'appartamento. Non lo consiglio vista la manutenzione da rivedere, l'assistenza fornita e la sensazione lasciata. Viste le ottime carte, Peccato! Torni all'hilton Materasso valido con Topper, da rivedere cuscini, mobilio eccellente, illuminazione discreta.
