We had a very restful and comfortable stay.

Our room and bathroom was spotless, lovely bedlinen and a very comfortable bed. Very quiet and the whole place was clean and fresh and welcoming. Perfect. We come 2 or 3 times a year to the area, and this is the best by far for quality and price. 5 stars.

Excellent guest house, close to amenities.

Great location, a short walk to long stay car park and beach. Clean, airy, and the sound of a babbling brook running down the street when I opened the window. Good shower in the en-suite.

The WiFi didn't quite reach our room on the 2nd floor Annoyingly it was fully available just outside the door.

The room was really big as was the bathroom. The bed was really comfy and you can hear the brook outside the window which was amazing to go to sleep to.

Clean room with a comfortable mattress. Very close to the sea in the middle of beer. Very nice cleaning staff that spoke to us when we arrived and the day after. Very nice and light room.

Our stay in Colebrooke House was very nice. Situated on the cozy mainstreet of the lovely traditional village Beers it was the perfect place to explore the surroundings. The room was fine and the host Dave was friendly and helpful.

Clean and basic accommodation but well located. A choice of eateries nearby.

The property is well located a short stroll from the beach. The room was bright and clean and the property was freshly decorated. The price paid was about right.

The room was at the top of several short flights of steep stairs which may not suit a less able person. There is no parking on site, nearest car park is a short walk. No breakfast is offered. The hosts were not on site when we arrived. It should be noted that the property has a "For Sale" sign outside.

Unexpected problem!

This place is spotless, 1st class.

WiFi was bad ,couldn't log on kept picking up the WiFi at the hotel next door. But that's not the only problem we had , I've just had a knee replacement so booked a deluxe double on the 1st floor ,room 2,verified by booking. Com. Turns out our room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. Room numbers at this guesthouse start at the top of 3 flights of stairs room 1 and room 2. Then 2nd floor rooms 3,4 5 and ground floor rooms 6 7 & 8. Never seen that before, totally caught us out . But having said that the place is awesome with a very good location.

Perfect stay in a quiet and spotless hotel.

Five stars for comfort, cleanliness, everything was in first class condition, and everything you could need. An absolute gem, at a really good price. We visit the area 2 or 3 times a year, and this hotel is the very best. We don't have breakfast, so this hotel was perfect, and such a comfortable bed with new sheets and duvet and lovely towels. We paid a small amount for the bigger room and it was huge - no clutter, plenty of space, with a spotless bathroom and lounge area, and very quiet. We will be back in the Autumn, and so pleased to have found such a beautiful place for such a good price. Thank you! Jenny and Bob

Beautiful guesthouse

Colebrook is a beautiful guesthouse. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had room 6 which was a large room with a big shower. It's a real shame that they no longer do breakfast but we had a lovely breakfast at The Anchor Inn. If you are happy with room only (and prefer the cheaper price) this is a perfect place to stay

Lovely house in Lovely Beer

Absolutely spotless & very comfortable.

My only thing i would say it is a shame that you dont get a breakfast there but we were made well aware of this when we bkd. Plus you can pop somewhete else to get one within a few mins walk.

Extremely clean and well kept premises. Everything seems very well looked after and maintained to a high standard. Friendly owners, lovely service and a nice spacious double room with fresh and clean furnishings and en suite bathroom. Nice breakfast food too and a perfect location for explore little town and getting to the beach.

Dave was a really lovely guy. We didn't meet Wendy, we just discovered that she cooks an amazing breakfast. Colebrooke House is beautiful and everything was absolutely spotless and breakfast was perfect. The bed was so comfy that we didn't want to get up lol. We would 100% recommend staying there.

Wonderful location, very friendly host, exceptionally clean b and b and well worth the stay.

Room was large comfortable and clean. Shower was nice and hot . View was over main high street but quite quiet. Owner was extremly pleasant and made us feel at home. well cooked breakfast and nothing was to much bother. parking was close by at £5.00 a day, prebooked with local council before leaving home. Great area for walking and exploring.
