I arrived in a taxi, but it could not enter the town, and Beatrice picked me up in her car.
It was very basic, which is fine. I had a room facing the church court yard/cloister, which gave the place a certain ambiance.
When I left, I had to find a taxi to get to the train station, because of my luggage. It tuned out to be almost impossible, I had to ring 29 taxi drivers before finding a private driver through the tourist information (which wwas excellent, by the way)

It is close to everything and it is very quiet.
My room was more unusual than a typical room since it had been an observatory room long ago. One evening when there were no clouds I could indeed see many stars and constellations.
Church bells every morning and evening.
The shower was wonderfully hot.
The host is very gracious.
Because my room was the observatory room access to it is only for the able bodied and for people traveling light. As far as internet access it was not a strong or consistent signal.

Central location, quiet, steps from piazza. Helpful staff - let me to leave my luggage before check in, breakfast, comfy room.
