Hotel from medieval times, so much history. Each public area was a new discovery. A little tricky finding your way around but once you walk around and acquaint yourself with the area, everything is easy. Well worth it tò pay for parking. It is a long steep walk from the public parking area at the bottom.
The description in Booking made it sound as though you register with The San Michele Hotel and then go to the B&B Piccolo. They are really one and the same. When we were looking for the hotel upon arrival, we were looking for the B&B Piccolo. Never saw that name on the property. Very confusing.
