The online pictures and property description were 100% accurate. Lots of times there is some "puffing" regarding the properties amenities and here there was not. Refreshing to see!

The lodge was the perfect retreat during the bomb cyclone! The wind whipped and the rain pounded, and our group huddled comfortably around the warm fire under the sturdy wooden beams of the house. We all arrived as friends and left as family with each other. It was a momentous experience for everyone.
We were not wanting for anything - the lodge was very well equipped and very cozy!
We needed to do some creative parking in other locations, as we had more than the seven vehicles allowed by city ordinance, but that was fairly easily accommodated.

This property sits in a one of a kind location with incredible views of the Gearhart estuary, Tillamook Head and the ocean. It is a good facility for 18 people in that we could all eat at one table and gather in the large living room.
The property is in serious need of upgrades to the interior carpet and finishes. Also, the onsite host was intrusive and too nosy about who we were and why we were there.
