The beach is a short walk over the sand dune. Enjoy your morning coffee or the sunset on one of the benches overlooking the beach or on the Adirondack chairs on the oceanside patio. Challenge someone to a match of tennis at the Gearhart shared courts, enjoy a few rounds of golf and a casual meal, beer, or cocktail all walking distance from the condo. Explore Lewis and Clark historical sites, the Columbia River Maritime Museum, the Astoria Column, local shops and breweries, and a good meal in Astoria, 15 miles north of the condo. Head south two and a half miles to Seaside and walk the Promenade filled with shops, places to eat, kayaking, an arcade, along with several other activities and great people watching. Return to the condo and use the free WiFi to post a selfie to your social media, plan your next day’s adventures, or download a new playlist to your device. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This is a beautiful little condo well furnished and comfortable. The things we used were very clean, like the bed, bathroom, floors, kitchen supplies. Other things at the property need attention: dirty baseboards, dirty windows and sliding door tracks, mold growing on outside of shower door, kitchen stove venting, large dust bunnies under bed and dresser. Beach front description is deceiving because there are large sand dunes between the condo and the ocean, so you cannot see the ocean and the walk there is a rocky, rough trail - about half a mile. I appreciated the washer/dryer with complementary detergent. There was not much room for our personal items, as the closets and drawers were full of owner things and extra blankets, pillows, etc. The setting is quiet and peaceful. We had to cancel one of our three nights reserved and the rental agreement said 100% refund for cancellation within that time frame. We received only the current rental value of one night + tax, which was lower than what we paid, and none the fees were refunded. That was a 35% refund of what we had paid for that night. Many pros and cons, but we will not be returning to this property because it did not meet our needs.
