Good location and shuttle service but you’ll find more value for money options nearby

Room was clean and big. Location is good and so is the shuttle service

Hotel doesn’t have free coffee or water filling space in common area. This is highly dissatisfying since hotel cost is on higher side. Only starbucks was available as self service (non breakfast) and then you pay $6 for it, not worth. Water bottle filling area was not available

Shuttle bus didn’t show up after waiting for an hour An air crew staying in Double Tree advised me to take their Shuttle and walk across which I did. Breakfast selection from the restaurant was too restrictive and skimpy

Travelers beware of hidden costs (this time in "hotel policies" )

New and clean room

The hotel was very misleading in the total coast of a night stay. Hidden under "hotel policies" is a required per day charge for parking. My agreement stated $25 per nite for parking (no security provided). They charged $30 per nite stating the cost just charged even though my reservation stated $25. For true cost of a night stay, the required parking fee needs to be shown up front in the total cost of a night's stay.

Hidden parking fee siginficantly increases effective nightly rate

When I last stayed at this property it was a Hilton Garden Inn. When I arrived they told me I had to pay $30 parking on top of my $140 nightly rate which is effectively a 21% increase in the cost to stay that isn't really advertised. I never paid parking here before or any of the hotels close to the airport. I found it an underhanded way of increasing their rate after you had booked and arrived when it was too late to look for alternatives. Don't buy their low advertised rates. Won't stay at another Mariott in the foreseeable future.

Nice and tidy. Do not get anything from the breakfast menu way over pricedand it isn’t very good.

Very clean and comfortable

No complimentary coffee. That is so cheap. I had to spend 6.50 downstairs to get a Starbucks coffee that wasn’t even a real Starbucks. They really gouge on the breakfast menu. Not a very great muffin for a high price.

Shuttle bus issues

Convenient for the airport. Room spacious and well thought out. Everything we needed.

Courtesy shuttle bus driver attempted to get us to go to a different destination, apparently for payment. Reported to hotel. On a separate occasion, we waited over 45 minutes for the shuttle bus at the airport.

Nice stay in Burlingame, CA.

Great coffee every morning by every barista du jour. Reception staff was always friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff were friendly and the room was always well supplied.

Plane noise was sometimes bothersome, but that is the case any time you are staying at a hotel close to an international airport. Not a Marriott issue.

Someone's small curly pubic black was left on the handle of the body wash in the shower. It really grossed me out. Mattress was stiff and uncomfortable. Pillows were flat and old (poor support).

Location is near SFO airport. Clean and serene place. There is a small river besides which is good for morning/evening walks.

Staff in general was friendly , except for one lady at reception who had frowned when my niece went to drop a baggage at concierge (perhaps she didn't like we had too many bags for her liking)

Good stay, close to the Airport, Burlingame is a very nice town with a lot of restaurants

It was a good stay, meaning we were there only it the evening till the morning, but a perfect clean room with the necessary accommodation.
