We've been going to DoubleTree at SFO airport Burlingame for nearly 30 years. The combination of location close to the airport, great staff, nice bar and restaurant and finally, good cookies make the place one of our favorites.

Rooms/hallways are starting to look a little dated. Time for a renovation!

very bad experience, very poor service and no empathy from the hotel staff

This was a horror hotel. Starting at the reception; the welcome was very uninviting. I had to spel my name because the receptionist could't even find my name on the drivers license. Our room was in a separate wing and we could not find the elevator, due to power problems the emergency doors were closed and the elevator was invisible. No help from staff helping us to find the way. The room was 70's style and very outdated. Next morning, no hot water due to boiler issues. After several calls, no other room available (in the other tower/part of the hotel) and no empty from the reception. No other option or compensation was offered. It was our problem. I think this is very poor service. No visit from me any more to this hotel.

An excellent place to stay between a long haul international flight and a lengthy national flight.

Very close to Burlingame which is a good place to visit to spend some extra time between flights. There is a nice boardwalk with easy access from the hotel which has a good view of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding area. The dining room serves a simple but acceptable evening meal.

Location and staff make up for the hotel shortfalls.

We loved the location and the staff. The front desk people and the bartenders were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The location was great and we used the hotel as a base to go into San Francisco, Carmel and Mjuir Woods.

The room was "tired". The curtains were falling off the rail when we arrived. No cleaning was done during our 3 night stay. Not sure if that is normal but we received no notification about that.

The room was fine. The location was terrible. The second floor window looked at the entrance to the parking garage, easily the worst location in the hotel. I was too tried after an international flight to request a different location, and it was only overnight. Flying out the next morning.

Amazing! Best I've had!

It was close to the Airport which was what we needed before we were to fly out. This was also the first Hilton that served food cheaper for the kids. They also gave us cookies and they chased us down so my kids could pick out a little toy.

The only downfall was a couple things. First traveling with kids I wish there was a pool. Second was the construction happening around the hotel. I feel there should of been a warning.
