The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was better than many places, but pretty normal.
I checked in around 6:30 and had to wait for someone to appear at the check in desk. I really thought I was reserving at a different La Quinta in Witchita Falls that was just off I-84, but it was my mistake. I just don't know the city and had stayed at the other LaQuinta a year before. It was therefore hard for me to locate this LaQuinta and it had been a long drive. So I was tired when I did get there. However the morning desk clerk was delightful and she was helpful.

The bed was comfortable
I’ve been staying here while Im in town for years, it’s not as clean and great as it used to be. The pool was closed and we were looking forward to that, there was a dog in the breakfast area so we ate in the room. I understand that dogs are allowed in this hotel which is fine but I don’t think they should be in the dining room. My debit card was hacked and they wouldn’t take a check so we had to pay cash and they made us leave a $200 cash deposit at the front desk so we couldn’t go out to eat and had to cancel our evening plans. That’s really no one’s fault and I understand that. I’ll probably stay there again but my expectations will be lower.
