It was the best out of town stay I’ve ever had!

The property gave me a feeling of warmth. It is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Nashville. There is a wishing well out front, as well as seasonal decorations that set the tone for a sweet, caring place to stay. My room was clean, decorated with little bears - matching the name of the bed and breakfast. A lot of thought went into making the room comfortable like a bathtub jacuzzi, a warm enclosed fire heater and a big screen TV. Each morning of my two day stay the owners made and served a delicious breakfast to all guests. Not only that! They asked about dietary restrictions. I’m a vegetarian and don’t eat eggs and they gave me toast, hash browns, and fruit. When it comes to going beyond the call of duty…I recently had spinal surgery and forgot my pain medicine! I called the owner and ask if he had any tylonol. He brought me enough medication to last the remainder of my stay.

I truly can’t think of anything I didnt like about the property.

Jim and Jill are excellent hosts and are some of the nicest folks you’ll meet. The rooms were clean, decorated nicely, and the property as a whole was welcoming and charming. Breakfast provided was fresh, homemade, and one of the best meals to be had on our trip to Nashville. We look forward to staying here again!

The breakfast was amazing and they did a wonderful job making my breakfast gluten-free and my spouse's dairy-free. Not all places are willing and able to accommodate this request and the hosts did a wonderful job. The location was great for us! The entire place was very clean.

The only suggestion I have is that the mattress in Blue Bell was not my preference.

Everything… from our initial greeting, right out of the car… to the kindness of the owner, to the grounds, the room was cosy and comfortable! Breakfast was amazing… I just can’t give enough wonderful accolades! It was a fantastic stay! We will return!

Quite happy with the experience and the cost.

Breakfast was great -- your good old midwestern sort of eggs/toast/bacon/potatoes and juice -- and the host makes particularly delicious fried potato with rosemary... also it's a wooded area, easily accessible off the main highway but no issues with traffic noise at all. The place has "character" -- the hosts also have "character". We were quite happy two nights. Oh, I almost forgot about the Guinea hens running around in the yard and the woods. They are pretty cool. Never stayed anywhere ever at any accommodation that included Guinea hens in the package. The location was perfectly convenient to Columbus Indiana, which we visited for the architecture tours, the tourist trap townlet of Nashville, and the nearby state park. Mere minutes by car to all three, but definitely rural.

Espresso? Host's coffee was perfectly fine, and there's hoity-toity coffee in town!

Pleasant small scale stay in a beautiful area

The Inn is set in beautiful grounds with plenty of places to sit peacefully and relax. The hot tub is great as well. You can help yourself to coffee and a good selection of teas in the dining area all day, and there’s even cakes and fruit. The room was comfortable, with a good bed & shower and sliding doors to the terrace.

Nothing that I particularly did not like. Just good to know breakfast is at 1 set time (9 am) and the same fry up type breakfast for all. Which may not be to everyone’s tastes / less convenient for early departures.

Small gem worth looking into.

It was a very nice place to stay between excellent and average. 7 or 8 on a scale of 10.

Host was excellent, involved, but not over-involved. Breakfast was excellent and the time spent with other guests was very nice.

Room could have been cleaner. Was not terrible, but there were just a few things, dust in the corners, stained table covers that type of stuff. Breakfast tables and the Breakfast area could have been a bit larger or arranged differently. Had to squeeze in to the table. Also, the public room could use a small table and seating for just sitting, playing games or doing a bit of work in the morning. There was an open area in the public room that was just wasted space. This would have been a great area for a table and some chairs for the activities mentioned above.

True B&B with breakfast. Convenient location right outside of Nashville IN.

Breakfast was good. Maybe consider a price with and without breakfast for those who don't want breakfast or need to leave early. The coffee station could then be upscaled with real cream or milk and breakfast bars etc.

The mattress wasn't comfortable. A bit too hard for our taste. Mattress quality is the #1 value we I look at for comfort of stay. There was also an HVAC unit right outside the bedroom window that ran all night and was pretty loud.

we liked Jim & the offer of breakfast. the room was clean, the bed was small but comfortable & the towels were soft and plentiful.

breakfast was at 9, which after a late night out with friends was too early for us. the steps could be an issue for some but were well lit.

Very nice house and the room and grounds were all well kept and clean. Jim and Jill were both very pleasant and the food was very good. The in room fireplace and the open hot tub on the patio were very nice amenities to have.

All of my complaints are petty and wouldn't nearly stop me from staying again. The internet was a little slow. The bed wasn't super comfortable, but I've slept in worse. Also, is any bed ever really as comfortable as your own?
