Quality Inn Plainfield - Indianapolis West

The property was in a good location

I stayed at the Quality Inn in Plainfield (Indianapolis area) and had a really disappointing experience. The so-called manager ( a girl hopefully she’s the manger and she’s not trying to make the real manager be a bad person) was extremely unprofessional and showed a complete lack of respect toward me. It was frustrating trying to get assistance, as there was never anyone at the front desk when I needed help. And because of me ringing the bell twice she start lecturing me in a very unpleasant way. I had to wait multiple times just to speak to someone every time I needed help as she ignored me on purpose. In my room Water in the sink was not heated some light were not working. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that advertises comfort and hospitality. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable or respectful place to stay.

That it had a pool and breakfast, it smelled great everywhere. The bed was comfortable.

The shower pressure was non existent , the shower head was molded, the nob to the shower came off in my hand. The hair dryer had a short and worked when it wanted too, the air keep going in and out. There was only 2 towels in the room, the pool was nice but was chipped and cracked. There was hooks in the walls where pictures were but taken down a couple holes in the walls. Not worth the money .

The kids love the pool and the hot tub! The room was cute too and very good size for the price. It was a good deal.!

It was very hot in the pool area. A little circulation of air would’ve been nice.

Booked and paid via Booking. Front desk said we owed the hotel despite booking agreeing with me. This went on for a day and a half before it was resolved. Not sure where the problem was, but it wasn’t on my end.

Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Everything looked nice and was clean. Location was nice and quiet with only a few minutes to downtown Indianapolis. Pool was clean.

Beds were pretty stiff and uncomfortable. A little sad there wasn’t a hot tub in the pool area, but not really a make or break deal.

Convenient location, room was clean, comfy beds. Grandkids loved the pool.

No elevator, poor lighting in room, breakfast options weren't great.

Everything was great!

Location was ideal for where we were staying for a travel baseball tournament. Beds were comfortable and front staff was friendly.

No ice machines that worked. Dirty chairs in rooms. A musty smell in the room unless the air was on constantly.

Location was okay, fit my needs. Parking was minimal but lots of doors to go to different area outside.

My first room that I paid for was dirty. The comforter had stains or dirt on it that could see upon entering the room and without turning any lights on. Upon investigating further, the window was wide open and there were crumbs in areas throughout the room. I was moved from a king to a double queen room which was better. The entire first floor, including the lobby, smelled like marijuana the whole time. No elevator in hotel which became an issue when I got into the shower for the first time and the floor was so slick that my foot slipped, hit the drain plug, and I fell backwards out of the tub, landing between the toilet and tub. I injured my back on the toilet and hit my head extremely hard off of the toilet. When I was able to get myself out of the space, I called the front desk. A guy came up and asked how I felt and offered to call an ambulance. I showed him what happened in the bathroom and he kept repeating to me, “You should be more careful in the shower.” The tub reeked of bleach when I got in. I told him to file an incident report and he just said, “I’ll have to call the manager.” I went to the ER and was diagnosed with a concussion, went back to hotel by Uber. I drove 2 hours home the next day with a concussion and ended up in a 2nd ER due to new symptoms and worsening pain. No one from the hotel acknowledged what happened to me. I called choice hotels and reported it and they told me it’s on the hotel because it happened on hotel grounds. They took the report and said the hotel would call me soon. Meanwhile I’m still suffering.

Slightly disappointed that no replenishment of hot breakfast after 8.30

The price

The fridge in the room didn't work.. didn't keep nothing cold. The toilet was coming loose from the floor. The pool area had fake fingernails laying on the table and nail polish pads laying around. The hallway smelled like marijuana the whole time we was there. And the breakfast staff was nowhere to be found and nothing was attended to, no eggs and no sausage and running out of cereal.

The lobby and hall all the way to my room smelled like Marijuana. The shower drain was extremely slow and filled the tub over my ankles before starting to drain. I could hear other guests talking very loudly down the hall/in the hall after midnight off and on for over an hour.

both of our windows have cracks in them, the floorboards were dirty, the room smelled like smoke and it was a non-smoking room, the towels were dingy looking

This property worked really well for me. I was comfortable and my grandsons were also.

Everything was really terrific!

The tub had cigarette stains and the door was forced open before our arrival causing the door to not close correctly. The staff was rude and this was a total waste of money. Next time I'll spend the extra 15 for a night somewhere else

They charge $150 deposit without telling you. Internet was so slow you couldn’t use it. Blow dryer blew a breaker every time you turn it on. They ran out of towels. No elevator, but they booked 2 buses of senior citizens. Luckily my wrestlers were there to carry all of their luggage. They left frozen breakfast sandwiches in the hot sun for over 24 hours before bringing them in along with the OJ. I feel bad for whoever ends up eating it.

The pool was nice. Liked that they extended the breakfast hours on the weekend. The staff was very nice.

It could have been a little cleaner. One of the beds the blankets had something all over it The curtains had something all over it.
