Courtyard by Marriott San Jose North/ Silicon Valley

Very clean and comfortable.

The staff was nice and the hotel was fresh and the cleaning was good. The location next to Target is a big plus as it makes it easy to buy fruit and drinks. Also the convenient parking which was free is worth a lot when you come by car. What lowers my rating is that my room was facing the highway and there is very poor soundproofing in the windows which meant that I was woken up at night by the traffic. I can imagine staying here more times but then it will be a requirement when booking that the room is not facing the highway.

Consistent with the brand. Walking distance to Levi Stadium. Great seafood, sports bar and other eateries accross the street.

The clerk who checked us in was rude and provided wrong information about cost and payment. He stated we had not paid already for the room, which we had through Booking .com. He then stated our “Mastercard” was not accepted for payment for deposit. We don’t have a Mastercard and booked through Booking.com. We felt both embarrassed that he announced such an untruth in public, and it was totally false.
