The lady at check-in was very nice and got us in early in the morning.

The night people gave my room key to somebody who does not have permission and my stuff was stolen After talking to them numerous times about me being the only person to get a key to my room which is pretty standard. TV never worked the entire week I stayed. After probably about 4 yea we'll take a look or give me just a sec and someone will be up, I had to get my own TV and bring it up. The drain in the bathroom tub never worked until I actually went in and cleaned it myself see pictures.

The location was great

When I showed up, the gate was broken so I couldn't park for an hour after checking in. The carpet was damp and disgusting, room had a horrific odor of cigarettes and mildew. Toilet didn't have a flusher handle

The room was generally clean and the staff mostly supportive.

It would be nice if you had a coffee pot or teapot in the room. Also, there was a crazy guest in the next room (304). S/he was banging on my wall, slamming doors, moving furniture, and banging pipes. This went on for several hours in the evening to the night. I believe they were evicted but it took a long time.

I would stay again, no problems! Clean rooms, quite area, respectful people, low traffic in and out. Full size fridge was for to have with spacious cooking facilities. Decently comfortable mattress, air and heat worked well, windows open for airflow. Great location close to stores, food, and buses. Much better than the Brair something hotel in front of the loop. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I would stay here again.

There was a $100 room deposit, which was not disclosed on the booking website or on the confirmations I received.

Overall the price was the only decent thing about this hotel.

The floors, especially the carpet was dirty and grimy. It smelled like old food and the hallways smelled like cigarettes. Paper thin walls, could hear everything the upstairs guests were saying. Overall felt like a shady area and felt pretty unsafe staying there alone. No coffee or any amenities in the room. No TV remote. Wouldn't stay here again.

Staff was nice

Very close to the highway, get car nice facing towards the highway. Only one entry and exit, which makes it harder to get close to the car. No Coffee or Ice machine setup? that is unusual for this size of hotel.

the parking the burners on the stove didn't work they charged me twice for the same day hard to find somebody when you need somebody at the desk

Travelled with 2 children. Checked in to our first room. Toilet wasn't working. Reported and was moved to another room. Then was moved to another room. Toilet was dirty. Bathtub had a ring around it depicting dirt. Smoke sector beeped all night even thought I complained that it had no battery. Attendant came to clean bathroom because toilet seat had dry urine. He cared less about our safety and didn't change battery as he promised. If there was a fire, me and my family could have perished

Staff was the best we have ever encountered and we have been traveling for weeks hotel to hotel. This one had to be the best in every way thanks for the great experience

This hotel carries itself like a high end 3 diamond vegas hotel. It even has the smell of it. Its comfortable and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I give them a 10 out of 10.

I would love an airport shuttle.

I felt unsafe, and the room was not adequately clean. Door did not lock properly, and door would sometimes not unlock with key right away

Things were in need of repair. But the price reflected that. The staff was able to relocate us to a room that was working.

The last time I booked a hotel at the this price point they had basic breafast that I like alot. Nor did they have a coffee pot in the room :0(

It seemed as there was too much traffic with outsiders.

I was able to check in before the 3pm check in time.

I didn't like that the AC wasn't working, the fridge wasn't cold, the sink in the bathroom wasn't extremely slow to drain ( you couldn't wash your hands without fear of it over flowing) and you had to flush the toilet a minimum of 3 times to get just urine and toliet paper to go down. When I brought it to the front desk guys attention when we went to leave for a softball tournament all day Saturday, I was thinking they would be fixed or at least an offer to move rooms. So imagine my surprise when I came back at like 7 or 8 pm thinking I could shower and go to bed, that none of the issues were taken care of. I went and packed my stuff up and went downstairs and told the front desk lady that they are still not working as the should be and I am not paying for more ice to keep drinks, lunch meat and condiments cold, and I'm not fighting with the bathroom issues anymore. She gladly checked me out and told me to call the next day to speak to the manager, so I tried from 0730-noon, no one ever picked up, tried several days after abd same thing, tried sending complaints through here using customer service and got no help...so not sure I'll be using booking.com fir awhile.

This Hotel is exceptional. It is kind of tucked away, however the staff are all amazing and helpful. I love staying here, the laundry facilities are a bonus also! Everything is clean, comfortable and safe. I highly recommend the Rosewood Hotel!

The room was not clean and the furniture was very old and cheap. The shower was leaking badly, and when I asked for it to be checked, they said they would and claimed to have fixed it but didn't. The hotel had only 1 staff member working at the front desk. I also noticed that several other occupants were complaining about issues with their rooms, too

waft of pot smoke everywhere, seemed to rent monthly to lower end construction people and meth looking types. room was never cleaned during our stay, only after we left. But for the price, i shouldn't complain.

I wasn't allowed to stay at the hotel and I was denied a refund! I am never using this website again. Do you have any idea how much money you ripped me off?! I'm so angry my blood is boiling! I'm trying to hold back what I really want to say to you people.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Also, the cleaning staff was helpful in getting me a microwave that worked. I was given a free room upgrade. Rooms were very clean. Good value for the money. Convenient location to everything nearby.

The other guest there were questionable. Seem to be on some kind of government assistance. I booked a separate room for my friend. He was unable to sleep because of partying next door. Those people were kicked out.

Staff was sweet

The place was under renovation cool but live the bathroom had stains a lot of the in both rooms and the soaps where hard you could even use them also one of the rooms was missing towels the put the rooms far from each other then I asked to be close and don’t mind the smell of weed because that was the main smell when you go in also the kitchen area the countertop pieces were falling off the walls

The room was nice and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and respond quickly to requests and problems. One of the staff members -- the dark-haired woman who was at the desk alone on the morning of Wednesday, April 16, 2025 around 6:30 AM -- was really exceptional; I was sitting in the lobby a while that morning, and she was keeping herself constantly busy, fixing things, cleaning things, and generally being an above-and-beyond employee; when I asked if the coffee was fresh, she immediately made a fresh pot for me. I was very impressed with her, and would have offered her a job on the spot had I been looking for an employee.

The hotel itself is unremarkable; it's not terrible at all, but not great either. It's nice enough. Portland isn't very nice these days, unfortunately; it's a very beautiful city but has suffered badly in recent decades. A significant swathe of the hotel's clientele look like they're homeless, or at the very least, extremely 'street' to the point of being 'ghetto.' That's not the hotel's fault; they do keep it looking good, and once you're in your room you'll likely be pretty happy.
