I was able to do what I needed- sleep and get ready.

My TV didn’t work. I used the texting feature to report and didn’t receive a response for over 2.5 hours and had already gone to bed by then. Water coming out of shower faucet was rusty at first. It cleared quickly, but was a little concerning. At first I thought the bed lamp didn’t work but it was simply unplugged.

I won't be booking again with this chain due to issues noted in this review.

The location was excellent in relation to the places I was visiting in Indianapolis. The front desk staff were amazing at problem solving and resolving a few issues. The bed was comfortable, and the room was extremely quiet.

The hotel was a bit run down. There were tiles that were chipped and possible mold issues in the bathroom tub area. The sheets were very thin and had remnants of hair from previous guests. The bathroom towels were also very thin. The stairway area needed swept as the carpet was quite dirty. I was also surprised by the strong smell of marijuana throughout the 2nd floor hallway even though this was a non-smoking hotel. I had issues upon check in with my payment. I had already paid for the two nights through booking.com. The hotel did not have record of this but I provided my receipts to them. They advised that they would deal with booking.com for payment. They also did not have me listed as staying for two nights. Upon further review, they found that booking.com had registered me for two separate nights. The front desk staff were extremely patient and professional and took great care of resolving the issue.

Easy access to the interstate

-I didn’t feel safe while we were there. It was a very uneasy atmosphere - lots of folks loitering about outside and in the lobby. -The staff was not helpful. When we had problems, they made excuses instead of fixing the problem. For one example, our TV only showed the black and white “fuzz” because the cable box didn’t work. Instead of them coming up to fix it, they told us how to wiggle the wires to see if it helped. It did for a few minutes then never came back. They said they would get a new box for us, but they never did. When I asked again, they said there was nothing they could do. -It was also very dirty - from the lettuce on the chair in our room to floors not being vacuumed all weekend to the staff not cleaning up vomit by the doors (multiple doors) for the two days we were there.

First time I have stayed at a Best Western and now it won't be my last. I usually stay at Hiltons and the comparable Best Western is a much better option. I was surprised at everything about the hotel. Very impressive!

Cheap rate, cheap breakfast😞Disappointed

Prices fairly reasonable for the area ratings that day. Room accommodations since I didn't know that the elevator didn't work until after I checked in. I am unable to walk stairs due to back pain.

The elevator not working. And not being told to guest until after they booked and checked in. We could have considered other options. Also my room on the first floor was near a back door entrance that closes extremely loud. So everytime someone came and left it was a loud bang from the door. Not a comfortable and restful night for me. I was told breakfast was at 6am the next morning (Monday 8/7/23). Because I didn't sleep was I figured I'd get up and grab something to eat early. I was in the breakfast area at 6:05am along with 4 other gentlemen who appeared to be dressed for work waiting also. The only attendee was rushing, bringing 1 thing at a time out. She did not complete the cheap and little options until 6:23 am. I had to ask if this was it. Servings for hot food were cold hashbrowns and cheese eggs. No meat protein options. The other items that were on counters were old apples and oranges that were discolored and spoiled. They appeared to be left not refreshed, unclean and organized from the day before and unpresentable to guest that morning. So after waiting almost 30 mins for complete options, I was disappointed 😞. I plated a hashbrown and eggs but did not eat. I took pictures for references also.

It was in a nicer area and easy to get back on main roads.

The fitness room was lacking badly with very little equipment. Even a multipurpose weight station would help plus heavier free weights and a bench. The pool was not open and it was 90 plus out lol

Just an okay hotel

The location of the hotel was great! Right off the highway and close to restaurants and grocery stores.

The hotel seemed to had recently switched from allowing smoking to being smoke free. There was a heavy cleaner smell throughout, even though the hotel itself was not very clean. Once inside the room, we noticed stray hairs on the sheets, in the shower and sink. On the last day of our trip, we came down an hour before breakfast was supposed to end, and the staff had already packed all the food away.

Had to plunge the toilet myself, o remote, TV did not work staff rude, breakfast ended at 10 but at 0924 there was no breakfast out. Spoke to the Michael Jackson wannabe manager, who was very unsupportive or apologetic. In the end gave me a 30% discount. Honestly tho after having to plunge their toilet myself due to their employee handing me a plunger after telling her the toilet wouldn't flush the 30% really didn't make up for that in my mind!

The hotel was great and very clean. Multiple entrances made it fast and easy to get to my room. Being Pet Friendly was very helpful as well.

The only thing that went wrong was the door access card reset/quit working twice but the front desk was more than happy to help reset the card so it really wasn't an issue.
