Would stay again

We loved the room, plenty of space, loved having the mini fridge and microwave to use. The bathroom area was nice as well. Loved having the small patio and two comfy chairs to sit on. Enjoyed use of the outside hot tub and the two fire pits with chairs was nice. Breakfast was mediocre, we ate it both days because it was included for free and saved from eating out (spending more money) but would have liked to seen more options of cereal. Loved the location, seemed pretty central to the main street of pigeon forge.

Two elevators was down to only one working which wasn't ideal during the busy parts of the day, had to wait for a few more minutes. The second treadmill (closest to TV) needs to be lubed, the belt would stick every so often and almost made me trip several times (whereas the one closest to door was smooth and had no issues). More breakfast options would be nice.

Exceptional property for the value. Future guest remember to bring a bathing suit!

I missed having eggs and meat for breakfast. But we were there in the off season and during a major snow event. Very understandable.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in

Our stay was amazing at The Walden. We went down this past weekend during that big snow storm and it was like a breath of fresh air when we walked in. The hotel is beautiful. The outside is well maintained and the inside is amazing. The staff at the welcome desk was very pleasant. We get up to the room and it was spacious and had everything you could need. Loved the toiletries in the restroom. The soaps, shampoos, conditioners smelt so good! The room was so clean. And the beds were comfy. We were on the 3rd floor (there is 6), and although we didn't get to use the balcony due to snow, we loved that outside our window was a big cross and a nice view. The pool was warm. The indoor hottub was great! But our favorite was the outdoor hottub. It was 5° outside and it was awesome to be able to sit outside in the tub and be warm and cozy with the snow everywhere. Breakfast was delicious! And the complimentary coffee was one of my favorite things. We loved everything. We will definitely be coming back again!

A quick getaway for my hubby and me

Conveniently located near the strip, but just far enough away so it wasn’t loud and overly crowded.

Good value for money all round

Found a dead ladybug in the bed and another one roaming around the ceiling- probably because the exterior door might have been open for a while with a previous guest. Thought it was a tick at first glance! Otherwise the room was clean as a whistle.

Upon arrival, the manager was on site, Vincent, and he went above and beyond to make sure that our reservation was exactly what we were looking for. He was so nice and thorough! He explained all of the features that the motel had to offer including free breakfast, indoor and outdoor pools, etc. Would definitely stay here again and again!

I didn't have any complaints during our stay. All of the staff that we communicated with were so nice and welcoming. Everyone you met had smiles, and were happy to help meet your needs during your stay!

Comfortable and staff was amazing!

It was my twins 10th birthday and they posted signs up all over the hotel. On the sliding glass doors, on the elevator and on our hotel room door.

We just had a view of the maintenance shed.

The staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was good. Having a hot tub and heated indoor pool was very relaxing. The location was just what we were looking for, close to a trolley stop and close enough to activities we could walk when we wanted.

The only complaint I heard from my travel companions was they didn't like the pillows, too flat.

I wouldn’t know. My booking was not held for me even though I had a confirmation number of the booking online. The hotel was overbooked. Nothing else available.

I booked online. My reservation was given to someone else even though I had a confirmation number with booking.com and gave my card info to hold the room. The property couldn’t care less. The receptionist acted clueless. No manager around. No response back from the hotel and it’s been days. Clearly doesn’t care about customers.

When booking the room I had emailed the property to ask about a 1st floor handicap accessible room and received a response back saying absolutely that was no problem. When we checked in the clerk handed me a room key for the 5th floor. I told him about the email and even showed it to him. He responded by saying there is no such room, however he did give us a 2nd floor room that was not handicap accessible. The room smelled of mold and was not a 9.8 that it showed on Booking. Com. I believe it is time to delete that app .

Handy location. Clean. Enjoyed the fire pit on patio. They have two. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Shenika at check in was especially courteous and went outside to turn the fire pit on for us. Poncho at breakfast had everything well stocked and clean.

Very nice stay!

Very convenient location, close to restaurants, stores and attractions. But also very close to Wears Valley Road. So it’s very easy to go Wears Valley, Townsend and Foothills Parkway!! Very clean rooms, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
