2 day weekend getaway

The staff were great and easy to communicate with. The location...wow just wow. 20ft from the beach, quiet area, great location.

The room we had was a little dated. The shower was clean but looked like it was last reno in the 60s. Pillows were uncomfortable. Appliances all worked but again very dated. All in all, I'd come back to this place.

Perfect place and location

This place is excellent! We stayed as a family with three children, and the apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. Everything looked new. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the water and restaurants. Yet quiet and peaceful. There is convenient on-site parking, and communication with the host was wonderful (we arrived late and were able to access the apartment easily using the instructions that were sent to us). We wish we could have stayed longer, but we had to leave in time for our flight. It’s only a 10-minute drive to Fort Lauderdale Airport.

The location is fantastic! Just a few steps from the beach. Susan was exceptional! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Property is well kept however, the bathroom shower can use a refinishing and newer towels, would also be appreciated.

I won’t be going back to the Dolphin.

Convenience to the beach and Susan who checked us in was very nice.

This was our 5th stay at Hollywood Beach and this stay by far was the most disappointing. There was a long hair on the pillow and a black stain on the sheets when we pulled back the covers. There was blonde hair in the drain in the shower. The neck of the shower head was coming out of the wall. The towels were very old barely white and had yellow stains on them as well. There were only 2 small baths towels which we used when went to the beach before dinner so we had no clean towels to use for a shower in the morning and couldn’t get more that night. I had to go to the front desk to get more and it didn’t open until 10. I was very disappointed because the reviews and score were very high at a 8.4 and to me it should have been a 5. I should’ve taken pictures of the issues. Next time I will.

Great location and very comfortable/clean rooms

Susan, the office staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked-in about an hour early and 1 of the 2 rooms was ready immediately while the other one was available a short time after. The hotel complex and rooms are a bit old but very clean and steps to Hollybeach broadwalk. You have to use a regular key instead of a key card to access the room, which was fine. We only stayed 1 night, so it was perfect and would consider staying there again.

This hotel is definitely overrated. Not clean at all.

Location was a very short walking distance to beach. Staff was friendly.

I was shocked that this hotel was rated so well... it was def overrated. Room smelled like mildew. There was mildew in shower, including in the soap holder (it left black on the soap). One of the matresses was held up by wood blocks underneath. Plan to wash the dishes/ utensils/ pots before using. No baking sheets provided to use in oven. No one was in the office except when I checked in. I had to call everytime I had a question or needed something. I asked for additional hand towels & wash cloths (I only wanted enough for the 3 of us in the room), no extras were left by housekeeping despite being told there would be. Air conditioner is plugged into an extension cord that is plugged in between the 2 beds. This left no outlets to use bedside without unplugging the light (fortunately, i always bring a power strip with me for just such emergencies).There is a for sale sign on the property.

Beautiful propert right on the beach . Definitely will stay there again

Property is located 200 meters from the beach and boardwalk . Room was clean , mattress was very comfortable. Parking was available for 10.00 a day right on the property . Large table and chairs are available to sit and enjoy the view.

The motel is super close to the beach; the "small King studio" is... a small King studio! The room was what we expected for the cost. The maid is amazing and gave us fresh towels and emptied the garbage every day. If you want to go to the beach for a fairly low price, this room helps you do that.

It needs a lot of updating, but for superficial things mostly; however, the mattress really hurt my back. It needs replacing, waaayyyy too soft and lumpy. Also, missing a few basic kitchen items (example: utensils in the drawer = 1 spoon, 1 knife, 2 forks). No kettle, only two small glasses, etc.

Charming stay

The location was very good. The room was charming and very close to the beach, just few steps from the boardwalk and the beach. A nice place for "people watching". The little one of 4 really enjoyed his "people watching" time. The room is exactly as in the pictures. Small but comfortable. The bathroom very small but totally acceptable for beach goers.

no dislikes. Don't expect 5 star facilities. It's a great stay for a family with kids.

Typical Florida Beach Motel, Good location to the Beach with ample sized rooms

Excellent location to the beach. Rooms were good size and clean, a typical Florida beach motel Full kitchens in each room, some with full ranges, some with large refrigerators Bathrooms were clean with good showers All had king size beds that were adequate in comfort

We had 4 rooms. AC was a wall unit in room 8 while adjustable went on for 1 minute then off all night. So it did not cool effectively. TV in room 7 would not go on. Cable box switched On/Off but could not get the TV to switch On. TV in room 9 had no remote Office closes at 6PM so any minor issues get resolved the next morning Careful there is a $25 resort fee that is published on the booking site in addition to the room rate and a separate $10 parking fee
