Unforgiving

Power was out, could not check in and it was getting dark. Place felt unsafe so my family and I needed to leave the area, hotel would not give the money back. Charged me 3 full nights even though I booked it an hour before and found they had no power to check in.

Our room was down an alley and every time you went to your room you smelled natural gas. The main office was down two blocks. The nothing was said about that in the description. Small signs posted on buildings weren’t helpful

Too expensive for a 1 star hotel

The location was amazing! Two blocks from the beach.

The property is old and rundown. There’s not even a phone in your room. You have to walk two blocks to the office to check in, that’s carrying all your luggage, which is annoying. You can’t get extra towels unless you bring a towel to trade one in for a new towel. There is a tiny built-in electric stove, sink, and microwave, however, there are no cooking utensils whatsoever so it’s kind of pointless to have that in your room. They only serve breakfast for an hour and 30 minutes, you go into a small room connected to a patio area, and I really wouldn’t call it breakfast. Not even a continental one. It was slices of bread, one kind of bagels, a large jar of peanut butter that everyone was digging out of, and a huge tub of cream cheese that everyone was digging out of. You could grab a banana or some dry cereal and milk. Extremely noisy. Fight across the street every night. Didn’t feel safe.

Buyer beware

Location is about it.

I booked for 2 weeks as ot said it had a kitchenette. So they had a a 2 burner stove, fridge microwave, toaster and coffee pot. What they didn't have was pans, cutlery or any way to use the kitchenette. When I asked they offered to refer me to restaurants in the area. All the other properties I have stayed in for the last 3 months were fully equipped. Totally felt scammed.

This place is fake! We received room in completely different complex. Additionally need to pay parking, which wasn't mentioned in profile. They want to leave deposit for that s..t.The odor was unbelievable, AC smells disgusting! Because of very late time, decided to stay. At 5am incredible noice of machines woke up us. Avoid this place!!!

Amazing stay as always loved the close up beach and the ocean view with shops and restaurants... Pools were nice and clean..

To loud noises next door people don't respect someone's peace and quiet .. Rules were not followed after 11 pm their music was super loud .

The location is excellent - very close to the beach. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. We had a great night’s sleep. The free breakfast had a variety of choices (various breads/bagels, hard boiled eggs, cheese, peanut butter, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, pastries). We had a small problem with getting the local TV channels, and although it was almost 11pm, Adrian cheerfully fixed the issue. Such great service!!

Parking was a bit of a challenge (this is throughout the beach area of Hollywood, not just this motel), but the hotel has its own parking spots which can be used by any of their guests who pay for parking so we found a spot each night.

Biased against disabilities

Nothing went well.

No on-site check-in and they made no help nor accommodation with check-in with a disability and I even called to explain the situation and they told me I had to find a way to walk for a check-in site blocks away from the hotel with no parking anywhere in the area at all (other than a garage with people loitering everywhere and high cost). They falsely claim at booking there is on-site parking. I get in and no one will help me even though I am in extreme pain from walking. They want to charge you $18 to park... sneaky... but the problem is that it is several blocks away or more at another business for that cost? They didn't give me a room and I had to leave because of the pain of standing trying to deal with them. I have a feeling they didn't actually have a room for me at booking since there was no parking for blocks. Several people ahead of me were coming in saying their keys... not cards... didn't open their room which meant they had to be given other rooms, probably mine. However, they still charged me for the room after I left not getting anything but trouble!!!! They are a scam!!!

mold in the AC and horrible smell. when I came to the front desk and said about that they said “ok, we will fix it” and nobody came. 3 days of stay. I’ve been there about 15 times but this was my last time. Stay away.

You pay for what you get

It was beach front, and quieter than I expected.

got in super late, like midnight, there was a line at the front desk, which wasn't where the address is for the hotel I booked. They have many properties in a few blocks, but it's not really clear by what you book on the website exactly where to go. They have a store in the lobby by the front desk, people kept coming in drunk/high to buy things which slowed down check in since they only had one employee working. A lot of people where hanging out, felt a little questionable, even at our building they were sitting on the steps smoking weed when we finally got into our room, had to stand in line behind 4 other people, one already had a room she just wanted to extend her stay... and did it at 12:30 am
