The owner was lovely, helpful, and thoughtful. The location was easy to get to stateline, all within walking distance.

We chose this hotel because it was rated 3-stars. This is not a 3-star hotel. While I do feel the owner tries, this is a very old, not updated hotel with almost no in-room amenities. There were poorly maintained aspects of the room itself. Ultimately it is fine as a crash pad for sleeping (bed comfort was okay, but I was glad to get home to my own!) but not much else.

For the price, I did not get what I paid for. Very dissappointed!

The woman managing the motel was super friendly, helpful and went out of her way to make you feel like family. I must say it was very clean. Bed was comfortable. TV worked.

Where do I begin. It looked like 1950's motels. The pictures on line are the opposite of what you'll find. The motel is sorely outdated, furniture is shabby, damaged, and stained. It took more than 10 minutes of letting the water run before I got any warm to hot water for a shower. Many bathroom tiles were cracked and loose. I was able to get coffee in the morning but no breakfast.

Great location, within walking distance of a transit center, Heavenly Village, grocery stores, and restaurants. The room was comfortable with a bed that was just right.

A working AC/fan would have improved my stay, especially during the hotter part of the week, and the wifi was unreliable.

Absolutely Perfect

The beds were so comfortable and very clean room. The lady who owns the place was very sweet and helpful with ideas of what to do while there and even provided a coupon that saved us quite a bit. She provided free water and coffee and other beverages all day. The location was great was able to walk to everything. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place! Close to the beach, the casinos, hiking, and the resort. Clean and comfortable, and probably the best value around. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The tickets you get for the private beach were an excellent bonus.

Shower head was so low that I hit my head on it multiple times. Curtain rod was falling off wall. Floors, walls and furniture were either damaged or not in great shape.

Overall nice place to stay in terms of location and things around here for that price.

We booked the queen bed but the owner gave us a king instead at the same price. The room itself was really great with all amenities like microwave, refrigerator, heater, TV and a comfy bed. Wifi didn't work in our case, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Parking is okay not that big but because of the snow it looks congested otherwise it would have been good enough I believe. The owner was friendly and helpful.

I guess the only issue we saw is weak wifi but I don't blame it because the internet can be bad in severe weather so I hope it works. I would take it as a benefit of the doubt :)

Exceptional

Very clean and home feel to the room. Reception was friendly and to the point. No hassles. Everything we needed for a one night stay. Will visit again in the future. Heater worked great.

Bed was definitely a little too soft but not the worst of things. Also, I dont think the AC worked, but it's cool enough out there to just open up a window of it gets too hot.

Update Apr 18: Just received this message from this property after I left my review yesterday - Just let you know that you are stayed at a cheap motel, but you thinking you are the high level of India, I am telling you that for now and you are POOR BITCHS!! Total rip-off. We had booked this for 2 nights at the last minute and since this is a motel, we didn't have any high expectations to begin with. But this hotel let us down in even the basic necessities. The room looked like it hadn't been opened for months, so there was dirt all around the room. The fridge smelled stale. We had to turn it on for an hour before using it. The lights in the room were dim. The temperature control didn't work, and the room was on heat all night, we couldn't even sleep. The handle of faucet of wash basin was broken. It could only be used by moving the steel inside of the faucet. Water from the faucet was extremely hot, making it unusable for anything. We had to literally brush using the shower faucet. The bed was tilting was one could easily slide off of it. When we called the manager to look at these things, she refused to accept these as something troublesome and asked us to not bother her again. They're charging the price of a 3-star hotel, provide facilities of not even 1-star. They should be happy we didn't show our anger as we were there to enjoy our weekend not mess with ungrateful motel staff. Don't waste your money here. Spend a few bucks more to get a better hotel.
