I wanted to let you know that the property does not look like what was advertised on the Booking.com website. I was really upset when I arrived at the property. For the first two hours, my door key card was not working. None of the USB ports were working to charge my phone, and the Wi-Fi did not work at all. There is no lobby to wait in or have coffee. The room and restroom conditions were also not good.

Rude staff , no cleaning

Except location nothing is good

They refused to do house keeping even for 2 night stay, even did not provide fresh towel or bed sheet. When asked to do housekeeping they said we don’t have people. Even heater was not working . And above that for no reason they have debited USD 15. Which I request you to refund me.

All in all, a super solid option for a ski bum weekend to heavenly!

Location for the heavenly shuttle can’t be beat! Easy parking, so so convenient for a ski trip. Super easy check in and out process. Bed sheets and blankets seemed a little old but clean so no complaints

Only minor issues. The heaters blow HOT. Great if you run cold in the winter, but we were continuously having to open the door to let cold air in even on a low setting. Showers and towels were a bit old and thin

What struck me most of all was how clean the room and especially the bathroom were! Bed was super comfortable. Fridge was turned on and nicely cold. Despite being on the main road, it was very quiet. The entire motel and my room was all done in shades of blue. The price was extremely reasonable. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

The location was amazing. Staff was on par. Rooms are older, and not updated. 1 stand alone sink in the bathroom. . Beds are comfortable. The value was very good for South Lake.We just wanted a place to sleep. Coffee is in the office, and does not open until 8:00. I went out to get coffee, as we wanted it earlier than 8:00.No microwave or fridge in room. I would rate this as a 2, or 3 star hotel.

Great room and great staff.

Cute hotel surrounded by a lot of other cheaper hotels like this, but this one was cute and clean.

We checked in late and was placed right next to the office. Our TV was too loud and it ended up bothering a neighbor. Wish we were placed in a more isolated room, considering the hotel was nearly empty.

The beds were comfortable.

Our room was dirty. Something smudged on bathroom lightswitch that took some effort to get off with a cloth. Water was foggy. The carpet was old and felt unclean. Heard creaking in the closet/ceiling all night. Toilet was running all night.

Close to Lake Tahoe. Staff reached out prior to arrival with detailed instructions on check-in process. Room very clean and comfortable. This location is not a 5-star resort, but comfortable and provided the amenities listed.

Could have used a couple of more bath towels, but I didn't ask for any either.

Guess you get what you pay for.

The Hotel was in a convenient location we were able to ride electric scooters down to Stateline which was a blast. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The price was great too but now I know why.

The room was not like the photos at all. Needs some updating in a major way. Small holes in the walls and ceilings. No coffee maker. Needs fresh paint and some TLC. The bathroom had mold on the walls and ceiling. If they sunk a little more money into the rooms this could be such a cute Boutique Retro style hotel but was just lack luster.

Communication via text regarding check in was helpful, and actual check in was easy. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable.

A few extra pillows would have been nice, as well as an onsite ice machine.

Okay for a small family or couple for one night.

The location was great, close to lots of shops and walking distance to the beach and very easy to find.

The driveway/ parking spots are very close making getting out difficult. We got a room with 3 bed that said spacious but it was anything but spacious. The a/c was incredibly loud. No one was in the office so no coffee available in the morning, which is advertised, it was after 9:30 am! The tv in the second room was very difficult to use and the WiFi was awful.

We had two rooms for a family visit. A/C cord was locked into the a/c system so it could not be turned on in either of our two rooms. We had to open the window and the curtain to cool off which of course left us feeling exposed sitting on our bed as people walked by. The bed sheets were pilling/bumpy and popped off the corners several times during the night in both rooms. There was not much counter space. While the staff was excellent and friendly, the room was definitely not what we were expecting for the rating.

We booked this last minute. Right close to down town South Lake Tahoe. Super convenient location. Close to whole foods. Had a washer/dryer which was a god send. The bed was HUGE. A/C was cold (which after car camping was heavenly). Not to mention the staff were great. Easy check in and out process with texts. Never had such great communication and care with a property. Will stay here again! Thank you bluebird!

The hosts were very helpful and attentive to our need. We had a pull trailer and they helped us park it and get it out when someone blocked us in. The room was nice. Had been remodeled

The property doesn’t look the best from the outside, but the rooms are nicely updated. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I wish the rooms had 2 chairs. If the room had two chairs, we would’ve been able to use the chairs at the desk for somewhere to eat with only one chair, and one of us had to sit on the bed to eat, while the other was at the desk, or we had to take turns eating at the desk.

It’s close to some eating places. The price was reasonable. The owners were nice.

Our blanket seemed not washed. There’s some stains on the bedsheet and a bit smelly. The shower area was small.
