GREAT LOCATION FOR FLAT ROCK PLAYHOUSE

Room was clean. Bed was comfortable, but pretty high off the floor. Location is good. Right off the highway and about 15 minutes from the Flat Rock Playhouse.

Tip: Request the 2nd floor. This is our 3rd time here, but my least favorite. We heard the neighbors stomping above our heads the entire weekend!

Nicest place I have ever stayed when compared to well known chains in the same price range,

I've stayed here twice now and both times I have been very impressed. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I were very happy and I must admit very pleasantly surprised the first time we stayed there last year and we were not disappointed this time as well. Best hotel I've stayed in when compared to the expenditure required for the stay.

I can't think of a thing I really didn't like to be honest. I suppose if I had to pick one thing it would be that the hair dryer in our room was missing, It looked as if had been torn off the wall in the bathroom,. I had to go to the front desk and ask for one, The girl at the desk found me one however and the crisis was obverted.

Check-in/out was very easy, polite. Breakfast was delicious, correct temps. Room, foyer, bfast area was clean,fresh. Would def stay here again if in the area. Easy to find, plentiful parking.

Room faced noisy, busy highway so next time would request pkg lot facing room. Honestly that was the only negative in our experience w/ this hotel.

Beds were comfortable. Room was clean.

Air unit blew out dust when turned on. Shower squealed loudly when turned to hot water. There were not enough outlets in the room. There is a desk but no outlet for a laptop or charger. There is a coffee pot, but no outlet to plug it into.

Nice place! Quiet and kind of out of the way of the traffic hustle and bustle. Enjoyed my stay.

Room was fresh and clean. Staff was very friendly and polite, and met my needs very well. I was needing a charge cord for phone because I forgot mine and they supplied that. I requested extra pillow and was granted that.

The only thing at all was the quality of the pillows. And I understand this to a point because I’m supposing a lot of the pillows get missing, so I understand that very high quality was not supplied, but the pillows in the room were tiny in size and very flat. That’s a mild problem I guess but with me being a pillow person it did matter to me. I was thankful to be given one more pillow during my stay. Otherwise everything else was great.

Looking forward to a return Visit

I had never stayed at this property before. I was impressed. I have my own rating for hotels. Clean Quiet and Safe is what I'm looking for, this place met everyone one of them. check in was the easiest I have ever had. The room was at the end of the floor resulting in an extremely quiet stay. I look forward to returning in the late spring

This is really nit picking. The breakfast was fine but did lack some fresh fruit, when I got there. They offered frozen breakfast sandwiches not an option for just eggs or a breakfast meat. For me it wasn't an issue

The staff was very friendly and the beds were comfy.

The breakfast was pretty bad. Like the coffee was terrible and the only hot option was waffles so I wouldn’t call it a continental breakfast. The bottoms of the beds were also stained but that wasn’t too big of a deal. Our room definitely needs to be deep cleaned as there were weird stains on the floor too. This hotel would benefit from a good remodeling.

This hotel was an OK place to stay, but for the money you could probably find something better.

It was a place to sleep. The bed was comfortable the sheets were clean.

Too expensive for what you got. The place needs updating. no USB ports nightlight didn’t work not able to plug in the clock that they supplied because it needed a USB plug. Basic tv channels. Obvious water damage in the bathroom that was repaired sloppily.

Wonderful staff the guy that checked us in gave us great advice on a place to eat. The breakfast was nice the lady that was there. Make sure everybody had everything they needed. The room was clean and neat would definitely stay again.

Breakfast could have been a little more expanded to include hot breakfast items such as eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. Did have waffles. Would prefer the liquid soap and lotion dispensers to the bar soap provided in bathroom. Seeing more and more liquid dispensers in hotels.

Very comfortable weekend stay

We arrived late at night and were greatly warmly. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean. For short stays those things are very important to us. And this is a small thing, but the low price on vending machine items was appreciated.

Maybe add more seasonal color via landscape or container plants or twinkle lights. Make it charming outside instead of plain-ish

There was an issue with the blow dryer and they repaired it right away. Room was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast options were limited. It was bagels, muffins, waffles and cereals. Oatmeal was Quaker Oats packets. Would have expected for the price to include some hot options like eggs, bacon or sausage.

It was clean and convenient.

Upon arrival I was giving a key to an occupied room. The lock was broken on the side door of the hotel allowing anyone to walk in. Checkout was at 11am. Housekeeping knocking on the door at 9:00. And again at 10:30.

We loved how clean the room was and how friendly the staff was also. The continental breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The kids and I enjoyed a waffle, some fresh fruit and some toast.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfortable. We were only there for one night, but would definitely book again when in the area.

The only thing that could use some improvement is the breakfast offerings. Mostly a lot of carb. High protein cereals and whole grain bread/toast would be nice to see.

The staff was helpful, professional and responsive. That made my stay. The breakfast was very nice except there is no fruit left if you arrive at 9. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean.

Internet wasn’t working during our stay but a technician was due to arrive the day we left. No fruit left if you arrve near the end of breakfast. The back door to parking was left open one evening which felt unsafe! But when I notified the duty manager he immediately took care of it.

Tim at the front desk was excellent.

This hotel is old and very dated. The exterior is the same. The first room we were given was very musty, too much so to stay in. Tim immediately switched us to a different room which was fine. Breakfast was adequate.

It was nice except for the phone & charger problem.

There was a good, fresh variety at the buffet.

The phone and the alarm clock were broken I did not have a block to charge my phone at midnight. So I told the night clerk who said he could not help. I had to charge my phone in my car and leave it running for 30 minutes.
